  1. We don't really need fans like you. HTH.
  2. Bit of a woffly interview from NA.
  3. Struck of a performance where he seems to have lost the lot.
  4. No idea what he was tonight, all fart and not much else.
  5. He put himself about to be fair, but isn't anywhere near the required quality.
  6. Well said.
  7. Clyne was decent, but Lallana had a nightmare.
  8. It's not as straight forward as that. They're starting to look devoid of confidence, guidance or any idea's. It's looking very rudderless out there at the moment, sometimes a change is the only thing that can swing it in the other direction.
  9. Morgan very poor, we really didn't need a performance like that from him. In all honesty, both CM's were hopeless. Didn't offer anything in attack and were eased off the ball for fun. They need to baulk up.
  10. Not unlucky at all, we were ****. WBA were there for the taking, we offered zilch. Couple of half chances here and there, but it was way too easy for them. They aren't that good a side, they'll drift down the league as the season goes on. It's just worrying that bog-standard sides like these make it look so easy against us.
  11. Fox was alright, and we weren't really troubled down the flanks for the majority of the game - only the occasion where Lallana went for a winter stroll.
  12. Nigel looks like a dead man walking there. I thought it was a pretty abysmal game of football, West Brom were pretty hopeless and if we were half decent we'd have given them a game there, but we didn't. They were **** and still scored 2, could have scored more, and worryingly kept us quiet with complete ease. Not sure where we go from here, but we are a long, long way off the pace of being a PL team. Time to pull the bedsheets over our heads until January because it's not going to be pretty.
  13. Very well summed up.
  14. Lots of sense from Neville. Yoshida doesn't look great if we're honest.
  15. We've got no pace in the attack, get Mayuka out there. Rodriguez has been easy to defend against today, and Rickie aint been much better.
  16. I still stand by what I said in that we need a strong CM in there, we're too easy to brush off the ball in the middle of the park. Decent ball players, but no strength and grit in there.
  17. I think they've looked poor, but we've equally look as poor if not worse at times. At least they look solid when we attack, so in that sense it's probably a deserved lead for them! Still plenty more in this game, but we now have to score, so I can see plenty more openings for WBA. 4-5 anyone?
  18. Gaston has been pretty poor out there, putting us into many difficult situations at the back with his sloppy retention. At the mo, he's making us weaker with his poor passing. Overall they've been poor, it's been a pretty flat game devoid of much activity, but we've still conceded a goal.
  19. I've got a real positive vibe about tonight, no idea why. But I can just picture us clicking all over the pitch tonight. Based on absolutely nothing other than blind faith, but we'll see what happens.
  20. Let's just keep it slightly calm. It will be a set back, but a defeat tomorrow doesn't end the season. Defeats all throughout august will go a way towards ending it though.
  21. I don't think we can look at it like that anymore. As Noriwch and Wigan have shown, if you're well drilled and catch them on and off day then they're as winanble as any other.
  22. Good, but I hope we have defneisve priorities in front of him. Any other rumours?
  23. A recentish example, Stoke City stayed in the league pretty comfortably in 2008. The likes of Tom Soares, Vincent Pericard (Yes, actually him..!), Leon Cort, Andy Griffin, Dave Kitson, Richard Cresswell all featured for them that season. I believe Griffin was actually their captain. I'd like to think we have better players than that available at our disposal this season, although that may just be a bit of blind faith on my part.
  24. Let's hope so. Would give everyone a huge shot in the arm ahead of a huge, potentially, deciding month.
  25. Remember seeing him linked a year or so ago. This is probably the type of player we'll need to target. I'll imagine we'll go back in for Boro's Rhys Williams as well, but he may well look at our situation and Boro's situation and think twice...!
