  1. Err not always - he says some things I don't quite agree with sometimes! But he's objective, open minded and has perspective - which is a great deal more than you do. End of story.
  2. lol.
  3. If tdd is banned for saying it as it is, I will lose all faith in this forum
  4. Remember all the apparent deadlines we gave Rodriguez and Jack Cork? When they realised that no one would better our deal they signed. This is the same case, but to do with a club rather than a player
  5. Ah, missed that one.
  6. So we're where we were 4 days ago, because that was the issue then as well. I will continue to stand by my belief that they'll realise it's the best they'll get, and sell.
  7. Napoli cannot buy until they sell. They will need Cavani to leave before they have the cash to better, or equal, what we've offered. It's all games, it's getting quite tedious if I'm honest. Bolonga seem very amateur
  8. Just let him make a tit of himself, quite funny watching afar. I remember his posts at the start of the Olympics. Along the lines of ''TeamGB might as well go home, what a disaster this is''. err yes. Day 2 I think that was. And then we obviously had the famous Ashes prediction, 2 days into it. ''Game over''. But we won it in the end. So you have to kind of raise your hopes when Alpine starts bombarding his negative drivel. Because that's all it is - drivel, based on nothing other than thin air.
  9. I have absolutely no idea what any of that means.
  10. As far as I know he has an Italian visa, which should avoid that complication.
  11. 6 working days.
  12. Nah, 6 days as in 6 working days. Only days the FA's offices are open to confirm the deal and any international clearance!
  13. It's been the case all along. Sit back and watch it unfold. 6 days to go.
  14. The article on sky, It just a nonsensical reason for a transfer to fail - It would, however, appear as though they have been unable to complete a notable capture, with financial troubles at Bologna posing a problem. Well, any money from us would ease those troubles somewhat.....Bizarre stalemate situation!
  15. Alex Crook, Southampton reporter for SSN: "For those asking i am confident #saintsfc will sign Ramirez. Think agent quotes saying deal is dead is an attempt to panic Bologna"
  16. Is this thread trying to rival the pompey takeover saga or something? Basically, nothing has happened today. Not sure if that's good or bad.
  17. Spot on. We're clearly sat on our arses doing nothing. We see no point in buying new players. Why waste the money? I think Cortese is too interested in fitting out the board room at the mo, that's the priority.
  18. I doubt that's the case, but I won't let it stop you going on your meltdown.
  19. I just cannot see Bolonga passing up the possibility of getting money, no matter how small. They need finance, that's clear. Gaston may receive an awful injury and then that's that - possibility of not getting close to what we offered. Are they in a position to pass the finance up completely? I'm not sure myself. As I've held out from the word go, I think they'll keep this going as long as they can until the point that they have no choice.
  20. I still think it's a game of brinkmanship. Bolonga will hold out until they can, up to which point they will then accept this is better than nothing at all. Now, if we're still interested when they come back is another thing all together.
  21. lol, so basically this morning we have gone from ''It's going to happen, just a loan to sort'' to ''It's too complex, bolonga aren't getting enough money, deal off''. I think it's safe to say I'm not taking it for granted either way at the mo. But I do feel the Italian sources are being fed this info for some reason.
  22. What's news?
  23. Geona, I think.
  24. Italian football is screwed in all. but to be honest, it will be difficult for them to get a loan. They may be forced to accept what we offer. Better than nothing
  25. So all Bolonga need are guarantees that we would meet our repayments, so that they will be allowed to take out a loan. Think of it from our point of view. If we went to take out a loan, but we had no income, they would tell us to do one. But if we said we'd be getting money in x amount of time, they'd want guarantee before they produce the loan. Once they get the guarantee the loan will be produced. Maybe it's difficult to put a guarantee in future payments though, but I'd have thought the PL TV deal is pretty nailed on in terms of what we'll receive in say 6 months, 12 months etc.
