  5. Think it will be more as its a new ground again, so say about 700, hope the Russians are still going to be in attendance.
  6. Yes we did, the pitch was in a playable condition but the roads outside were dangerous apparently we drove up to find the game called off.
  7. The new stand is very nice but the ground has flats in each corner and it was strange to see a guy sat on his balcony with a cuppa reading his paper whilst the game was being played.

  20. Sorry but it couldnt have been 66 as I wasnt old enough to be driving then and remember driving to the game that day.
  21. Anyone else remember what year it was that we were due to play Orient (can remember it was on a Saturday) but the game was called off because I think the pitch was waterlogged. The reason I am asking is that I remember pulling up outside Brisbane Road to see someone from the club pinning a scrappy piece of paper on the main gate just saying “game off” and turned round and came back home again. This also happened to me once when we were playing Newcastle away, got all the way up there only to find the game called off, nothing wrong with the pitch but apparently the terracing and the steps were a hazard. With better transport links and communications nowadays it now seems a rare occurrence that games are called off after you have arrived. On another matter what time will people start queuing up tomorrow morning for tickets and how many people will be queuing.
  22. I agreed with you Bob, these youngsters dont know nothing. The argument was over what year and game the wall came down at Brisbane Road.
