  1. Might hit him in the face though.
  2. Funny how we are different. I don't react to that at all, but I see your point. He gives me confidence, and I don't freak out every time there is a shot on goal anymore, which is a nice change.
  3. Oh, how I have longed for the days when we complained about the distribution of our keeper... The goodtimes are back!
  4. It's an interesting point. For me, the difference is that it used to be about "our club" and a team/players representing us. We would back them no matter what. The game has moved on, and it is no longer "our club". It's a product. And when the product is shit, and not worth the cost, you have every right to complain. The productification of the (once) beatuiful game.
  5. I wish that was the case. No, they are at it. They’re just incompetent.
  6. That would explain a lot...
  7. Like a fine wine! Just needed a bit of patience.
  8. True. The biggest difference for me in Tondas good period, and the shit we have been served before and after is willingness to run and work hard. Its mostly the same players and tactics, but in that brief spell there was a willingness to run for each other. That opens up spaces, lets us play faster passes etc. Also pionts to the fact we could only do it for about 45 minutes pr game, and certainly not over the Christmas period. When players struggle mentally and are losing a lot, they have not suddenly turned into shit footballers. But the stop running for each other. Just a little less. And that makes a huge difference.
  9. I think you are right in this. I would have loved for him to stay and been given a chance with us, as I did rate him, but I think this was the best move for his career. He would be shit in our setup. Just look at James Bree. Nobody was too bothered about him going out on loan, he wasn't that good. After playing 20 odd games for Charlton, he looks like a proper player. Watch him come back, and suddenly become as shit as all our other defenders.
  10. Oh, for fucks sake... that means there is a Temu Tonda out there 😟 and I bet we have the scouting setup to find him!
  11. Like most of the teams we have played in recent weeks...
  12. History of SR says otherwise. The norm is 3 managers pr season.
  13. Think hes off fishing...
  14. This is not directed at you spesifically, but I love all the different reasoning from people trying to justify 5 at the back: First we were told we could not play a back four due to all our right backs were out injured. Then it is because we have no suitable left back... No, now it's becuase we have poor CB's
  15. I appreciate your answer, and I am not trying to change your mind 🙂 we just disagree on a very specific thing. You think Manning is better suited to a back 5, I think he is better suited to a back 4.
  16. I disagree. Manning and Wellington are poor, but let’s not make up excuses. Manning was no better or worse two seasons ago in a back four. If anything, limited fullbacks with poor positioning are less suited to play wingback. It’s not like managers around the world are moving from a back four to a back five because they have poor fullbacks..,
  17. And Brooks is cup-tied…
  18. I heard Rudi Skacel is coming
  19. It will indeed be a confirmation of what we are already thinking. The people who made excuses for Baz will continue making excuses for him, and the people who didn't rate him, will still not rate him.
  20. Well, at least he was pound for pound the fittest man in Europe, or something… I’d take Crazy Jones over Tonda every day of the week!
  21. He has to win the odd game to stay in the job. I think the next 3 games are massive for him. But I have no faith in the club to get the next appointment right if they sack him this season or next, so I have no idea what I want…
