  1. Let’s not do the Tonda… Baz and Jack in, and me out! Not watching this.
  2. OK, move Downs up one, and reserve the lowest circle for SR.
  3. I will admit that I thought the same as leeham, because it feels like SR always hires out of job managers. Then I remembered Nathan Jones, and I completely abandoned my idea/thought process... before I even got to Martin 😄
  4. Let me live in the hope that SR fucks up their next appointment, and hires someone who isn't a yes man, and accidently gets someone good...
  5. I only have one kriteria for the new manager: that he is not hired by SR…
  6. If they were to do that, SR would probably fuck it up and sack themselves first, and Will would Still be here…
  7. As we have very little chance of hanging onto a 1-0 lead, the way for us to win in this division (until we build confidence) is to get into a 2 or 3 goal lead, and hope that the opposition gives up a little and takes their foot off the gas. No point in trying to be solid in numbers at the back, as we crumble under pressure no matter how many bodies we put back there.

    Matsuki

Matsuki is the most lightweight player I have seen in a while. Against Norwich he scored a great goal, but every time he got close to a Norwich player, he was brushed off the ball.
  9. Of course we will always be a selling club, along with 99% of all football clubs. I honestly don’t get your point, if there is one.
  10. Focus on building a good team first, and sprinkle said team with talented youngsters who might come good and turn a good profit down the line.
  11. He scored a great goal, but every time a Norwich player got close to him he lost the ball. Looks decent if he can play in pockets and not come in to contact with other players, but does seem to lack a lot in the physical side of the game.
  12. What is this "win" you are talking about?
  13. That sounds a lot like us...
  14. I was just thinking the same.
  15. This team is just about to click.
  16. This was not a great performance, it was a wasted opportunity against a pretty poor team at home. One of the easier games of the season.
  17. Still just got scared and felt the pressure after the shit performances with the back four. He is playing the back five to keep consistency and build from the back/clean sheets. The general idea of consistency and building a backline is a good one, but he needs to get results fast if he’s going to continue. Hopefully the players are not as confused as most of us are about what he is trying to do, but it sure looks like it. I think he is failing, and the next matches will only get worse, not better.
  18. Hahaha... was thinking of posting the same 😄
  19. We are not scoring today are we? We need an unlikely hero... Step forward double D!
  20. It feels more like they got lucky with Stewart. That wasn't planned. He could have had a poor match, and gone to the back of the line again. These are the same people who figured that our goalkeepers are good enough (and Downs)... I am aming this more at Spors than Still, btw.
  21. I'd say it's the manager, not the players that are better than reality 😉
  22. He was 4th choice striker up untill about a week ago... so I don't think that changes anything for Spors. It's not like they went into the season saying "Stewart is our main no.9", so I doubt there are alarmbells are going off. Sadly...
  23. I think this is where a good manager shows his worth. Play the hand you are dealt. There is a way to play with smaller forwards, and not the target man up front. With what Still has available until January, he has to make something work with either Archer and/or Armstrong up top.
  24. It's like watching Space Jam
