Alcaraz signed on the 11th, and made his debut on the 14th. Thats what happens when we sign a player who is good enough to improve the starting 11. I guess we will just have to wait and see, but my money goes on more waiting than seeing π

I respectfully disagree. He may need to get up to speed, but for what? To be available as 3rd choice? If he was an improvement, he would go straight in the first team.
-
If Wellington was good enough/an upgrade he would not have gone to the U21... He is not here to play, he is (like, oh, so many others) not good enough to strengthen our starting 11. Probably end up on loan somewhere.

Now THAT I believe!

I agree, they can score goals in the championship, but who is going to provide and set them up? It's very easy to focus on our crap, misfiring strike-force (because they are), but we are also lacking in the creative department. Last season we had Stuart Armstrong and KWP as the to main players who could transistion us out of ball retention, and into attacking play. Next season we need new players like them, as the two most likely answers, Dibling and KWP, won't be here.

Haha, made me think of this: Right, let's get this silly fotball club sorted:

A bit of an Americanized version of βoh when the Saintsβ before the game might be all they needβ¦

I concur π π³π΄ Cheers Badger! In most cases I donβt mind a common association with my danish neighbours, but when we are referring to Ankersen, I do insist we make a clear distinction π

Well... I would argue we even failed at that... (thankfully) We bought more BBD's than Lallanas over the last few windows π

The Balkan Chris Marsden?

Lucy?

Spurs supporters, sitting in the home section π

Not sure we will be able to turn that around second half π

We should not come out at all, then...

60 million minimum and piss off !

I would think a clown may have strong connetctions to the club... they seem to employ a lot of them.

But he must be losing the dressing room soon... some of the things he is saying now... That is my only hope. Once he does that, he will lose his job. I don't think you can lose as many games and then bounce back next year. Something breaks...

Not intended to be taken seriously. Thought it was clear and obvious...π

It was a joke, I thought it was "clear and obvious" so didn't bother with emotes. But on a serious note, no manager is ever going to quit and walk away from a hefty comp...

Have some sympathy with the man... No other manager has had to continously make interviews and pressers over such a long and poor period. To come up with shit to say, every week after the same horrible mistakes and toothless displays, must take its toll. He is very brave. Out of his league, out of depht, out of ideas - he takes a beating every week and has to talk about it...

I don't get the anger against Stephens. He allways puts the club first. After finally understanding how hopeless our plight is with Martin in charge, he took one for the team, pulled some lovely curls to help nudge Martin out the door π
