His best ever game for us imo was the first leg of the League Cup semi against Liverpool...................and he missed 2 sitters in that. He's been alright in patches, in fact had a season of looking pretty good in a thoroughly shit team. He's scored the odd good goal, there's clearly ability there but overall he's just fucking annoying because he simply doesn't show it enough and hasn't ever kicked on. I also think he'd be even worse right now if there were crowds in the stadium because they would be right on his back.

Agree, it's fairly basic really - we are hoping to scrape by with minimum investment that leaves us with a painfully thin squad which will be exposed if we suffer too many injuries (like, 3). We are suffering those injuries and we are not scraping by as a result.

Have to say he seems incapable of changing a game with astute tactics, on the flip side the oppo makes a positional tweak in the 2nd half and we are done. I like him, don't want him gone, don't see an abundance of better options who we could afford but he has got to arrest this slide quickly. Needs some help imho.

This second half has been truly horrific. There is a growing pattern of us looking a nice tidy side in the first half of games (without actually ever looking that dangerous and with the odd VAR injustice thrown in), and then coming out looking utter dogshit in the second half. We need a win and quickly, because this is just crap.
