Jesus, McCarthy's distribution is SO dodgy. Incredible save though to bail himself out.
-
LOL playing poorly and winning. GET IN
-
Industrial language apology - Get in!!!
-
Danny Dyer and his old pal The Wall. Give me the right proper hump.
-
Cheers, won't be reading it after reading your post. Astonishing a so called professional can commit such cr@p to to a national newspaper.

3 thoroughly tedious matches today. Not seen anything we need to be frightened of.
-
Yeah fair enough not hate. But timing of all the negative comments and the goal was funny. Anyway GTFI and UTS
-
LOL at all the Armstrong hate.
-
VAR doing a great job again. Clearly no foul there.
-
Armstrong should have gone on his own
-
We're starting to tire. You can see where this is headed.
-
Yeah and he went on to say "you can't not mention it" which is clearly untrue in spirit and in MLG style actuality. When do we reach the point when you can not mention it?
-
To be fair as huge a miss as he will be I don't think it's realistic to suggest we should have bought another steady little 20 goal striker in case Ings got injured, that's not like falling off a log, especially with our budget! Others are going to have to step up, Adams is going to have to prove himself as the main man for a while, could be a big opportunity for Nlundulu (sp), seen very little of him but he looks a proper unit that you'd like to think could be a real threat in the air for Redmond and Walcott to cross to. Pushing Djenepo further forward might be an option. Then you got Obafemi - hardly prolific but learning his trade at this level the last couple of seasons and has scored decent goals. Probably feels a bit under threat with Nlundulu(sp) securing bench time recently so will be determined to grab what may be his last opportunity. Then you've always got Long, maybe he will feel he's drinking in the last chance saloon and it's now or never to finally improve on his 1 goal to every 20 chances ratio. Jesus I've almost convinced myself we don't even need Ings!!
-
Agree with this, almost edited my post claiming Ings is our only truly top class player to reference JWP but couldn't be arsed. Mantain DI our most important player by miles though.
-
A perfectly reasonable point of view which I disagree with for various reasons I can't be bothered to elucidate on due to being tired. Good night and let's hope that Bertie Ings and Bedders all recover quickly, especially Ings.
-
Well knock me down with a figure of speech.
-
Ok pal, nobody suggested we didn't have some very good players and decent strength in depth, but if you think we won't be just a teensy bit weaker as a result of not having Danny Ings available to play and score goals for us and our league position won't suffer as a result you are deluded. Then again Long is well known for banging them in regularly so maybe I am just a hysterical tart!
-
Yes AKA without Ings we are fucked. He is the one truely top class player we have. He plays in a crucial position and we have nobody even remotely at his level to replace him. If he is out for the season (please god no) watch us plummet from our agreeably lofty position like a molten pebble through already melted butter.
-
Yeah much more worrying that a first choice full back might be out than our only reliable source of goals.
-
It's significantly more difficult to hit the woodwork ('woodwork' lol when was the last time a top flight match was played with goals made out of wood?) than it is to score a traditional goal so maybe actual goals (in the traditional sense of a goal) shouldn't be goals anymore and only shots that hit the 'woodwork' should be regarded as goals.?
-
I simply cannot recall the last time we had a goal on target in a game that wasn't a 100% goal let alone 4. Get In!!!!
-
Agreed. Please stop scaremongering will you Mitch01. We have enough to worry about what with going into lockdown and all that.
-
Danny definitely hasn't snapped his ACL (not ITK but very confident on this), he did have a choice and almost certainly didn't drive himself home anyway. Should be fine after the international break.
-
Not really that worrying in the context of the injuries. If we hadn't sustained those we would not have conceded 3 imho. The injuries are in and of themselves the most worrying aspect of today.
