That's how I saw it as I yawned my way round Harry Potter World with the Mrs whinging at me for watching a match stream on the phone. We just don't cope too well with direct teams with big hefty forwards do we.
Really enjoyed that today should have won by far more was worried about conceding equaliser seemed inevitable after missing so many easy chances what’s that pal no I have not heard of punctuation come on you Saints
Totally mate/pal, that's why I said "highly entertaining". Gutted as well though, tbf, so used to this type of thing year after year after year against big sides I'm sort of over it already. Life's too short and all that.
Agreed, this (highly entertaining) balls out full press system does kind of rely on scoring the numerous chances it creates. Inevitable that a/it will leave gaps at the back and b/we will tire towards the end and leave even more gaps.
Yet again the better side away from home. Very comfortably. BUT we do look too open to the counter and obviously the JWP thing is a massive problem. It's not so much the RB position assuming Valery and KWP are up and running quickly but it basically leaves us with Romeu and Hojberg as our midfield probably for the rest of the season until one/other or both gets suspended/injured. Our squad is stupidly wafer thin and it's going to hurt us.
He was crap yesterday. Properly crap. But he was a CB playing at RB. If you look at his numerous **** ups they were basically due to him drifting into his natural position of CB and leaving (massive) gaps at RB. You could argue that as a professional footballer he should have the nouse not to do that, but you might also argue that if he was playing in his accustomed position he wouldn't be responsible for such an inept sh!tshow.
