I'm not a fan of Redmond, or Elynoussi based on the last couple of years (and unconvinced Ely has the qualities we need), but certainly can't fault their contributions over the last two games, and would gladly settle for some more of their mediocrity if they keep giving the same level of assists and goals as they did yesterday (leaving aside Newport County). Don't think either can be critiscised for much yesterday. Djenepo on the other hand...

Very few will disagree with that, but realistically, and from what has been said, it isn't going to happen. Be delighted to be surprised though. For CM I assume you're looking at a DM, ("No 6" as seems to be called).

Perhaps he needs a year (or two) on loan to Celtic.
-
Bit of a recurring theme with us though
-
Hope he puts the same effort into his performances as he does his social media posts. We've just got rid of one whose presence on the field fell short of his media image. Could prove an inspired signing if he lives up to the early promise in his career. Worst case though we've just signed a 'Lemina-Osvaldo' hybrid.

And Elynoussi despite his performance the other night.
-
Bierhoff ?
-
Great minds and all that, thought this morning if we'd try and offload either of those two. Surely Celtic have got someone we could swap Elynoussi for. If not Ryan Christie who we've been linked with or a youngster, then even a midget goalkeeper and a step ladder might improve the squad.

Have only read good things about SA as a person. Quite amused by the last bit though. Not sure what he could say to that " better than that pair of c^nts, f'kin hope so... "

Don't like the sound - or cost - of that. Wasn't he fairly error prone at Liverpool ?
-
That's surprising, I'd have thought we have played one a game every match like everyone else. Unless you meant decent or quality GK, in which case I'd agree there havent been enough of them over the years, and certainly since Niemi left

A good listen. Thanks.

He was worth the fee for the celebrations at Reading alone.
-
I think Cortese probably felt Reading were taking the piss. I remember a fee of £250,00 was discussed/rumoured when the player first came to us then they hiked the price at the end of the season. De Ridder was the season after promotion , so not an immediate replacement for Antonio.
-
I'm sure he'd have to agree to it but seems unlikely he'd opt to stay at Saints to forego a move to Madrid or wherever. Don't know, I thought there had been previous cases of this, although may have confused it with loan options returning somewhere before being sold.
-
It's not just whether he is wanted back in their first team though that will influence it . Chelsea could buy him back at £40m, and sell him to Real Madrid for double that the next day.
-
Certainly needs explaining.
-
Have changed it for you.
-
No Armstrong even on the bench. Have I missed any announcement of injury ??
-
Surprised by this from you MLG. As often said in sales papers, past performance is not an indicator of future results. Your standards are slipping.
-
Other than playing for Scotland (but so does Che as a benchmark )not sure how a good a player he is but he will certainly improve our chances of winning the 'Quasimodo impression'' trophy judging on this photo.
-
Given Torino might be eager to offload him I'd have thought a loan with an option might have been a more cautious approach.
-
Being able to defend, capable in the air, and not shrinking at the first sign of a physical CF probably rate pretty highly in the requirements of most. Agreed. Fancy footwork in your own penalty area scares the shit out of me when done by defenders as much by our GK's and we know how that has ended for several of them. From the youtube clips he does look to have played in a more advanced position at some stage so perhaps he may be moved further forward for us as well.

What became of Centurion Business Park ? Recall they had purge on parking there at one stage.
