It's obvious that Lee has hit the ground running, so Nigel cant leave him out. What message would that send out? Since he's been at the Club one thing that has stuck out is the fairness over selection. He doesn't appear to have any favourites but will also leave guys out/sub them if they're tired or got a knock.I thought Sharp would hit the ground running and Lee would need time to adjust, but it seems to be the other way round. The great thing about Nigel is he doesn't seem to have an ego. Other managers would have played his big money signing whether he deserved a start or not.

He's just turned 12, he's looking forward to it. Will he get in most of the pubs at that age?

That's what I do, but I'm taking my nipper for his first taste of Millwall. He's been looking at a map and wants to walk from Waterloo bridge to London Bridge to see the sights. Has anyone done this and more importantly is there any decent boozers if we use this route.I'm thinking it could be a bit of a pub crawl, but dont know the area too well.

I've no sympathy for you as you clearly want to pick and choose your games. Why wouldn't you "want" to go to the Donny game,could understand if you couldn't go. But how can you complain about the treatment you're getting, when you dont want to watch the side because its not a "big" game.

They have not been sticking to that. I was working last night, so couldn't go. I rang up to get tickets for Barnsley and was going to get ipswich, to ensure Cov tickets. When I was talking to the guy and explained that the Ipswich ticket wouldn't be used and I was just paying for it to ensure Cov tickets, he told me it was one or the other (Barnsley or Ipswich). The tickets (Barnsley/Cov) came together in the post the next day.

Some people need to get a grip. Reading have come on a great run, winning 7 on the spin. The fact that they're still behind us, even if they do win their game in hand shows that we've been pretty decent after our mini blip.They could go on and win another 3 or 4 in a row, but histroy tells us 10/11 wins in a row in this league is pretty much impossible. Leicester will be tough for them, and if they lose that, our point Tuesday will look a lot better (provided we beat Barnsley).We then have Millwall away and Hull away, followed by Donny home. Pick up 6 points in those 3 and we'll still be above them (imo). That'll leave us top in the top 2 facing Blackpool on the last day of March,when they go to West Ham. We have 2 winnable home games in April, 2 easyish away fixtures and a home game against the team directly in competition with us. They go to Brighton, have Leeds, come to us and have to go to Birmingham, our toughest will be a trip to Boro. Hudders chased us during the run in and couldn't pip us and I dont think Reading will either.

Channon had a pretty decent England career as well, scored 20 odd goals and also captained the side if I remember rightly. Somebody once told me he was the most capped player never to play at a World cup (English player), but I dont know if that's true. Both were legends, Matt on his day was the best, but Mick had more "days", played for England more and was my hero, so slightly edges it in my opinion. If Lambert fires us the the Premier league, he'll be up there slightly below Mick & Matt in my legends list.

I would have taken 7 points from this week, but now the toughest is out of the way, will be really dissapointed with anything less than the maximum. To go to Leeds, on TV, Warnocks first home game, play poorly and still win was a massive massive result. I've no doubt the players will be thinking the same, this is a great opportunity and bearing a Kelvin like performance from Ipswich or Barnsley keeper, can not see us slipping up. I would have thought the ability to spell was quite important when producing a newspaper. Not doing so does hint at a lack of professionalism ( and before anyone says anything, my spelling is awful, but I dont write for a newspaper).
