Correct in Pubs and at games, I find people either hate Lowe or aren't too bothered either way. It's only on Forums he seems to have reached hero worship levels.

Well Mick went to Man C and leaving the Club. In some peoples eyes is a no no. I maybe wrong there, because it was proberly alright for Mick, but not for Lawrie (as Lowe hasn't had a bust up with Mick). Personally, I think we we should play at the Ted Bates St Marys Stadium, in front of the Le Tiss, Mac,Tp and MC stand's, but i'm just an old softie at heart.

Lawrie turned down plenty of offers during his time at Southampton. Sunderland were his home town Club and somewhat of a sleeping giant. To critise the guy for doing what 99% of Football Managers have always done is strange. We'll have Aberdeen fans posting how disloyal Fergie was all those years ago next . Why can't people just rejoice and count their luckey stars that had Lawrie for so long and thank the man for the unbelieveable times he gave us. It seems that the people who supported Rupert the longest, are the first to start running him down. Forget a suite, he should have a stand named after him.At any other Club this would be a given.

We even managed to mess up going into admin. Someone must have known we were near the edge the week before.

Picking the right Manager is certainly a tough call and one that is hardly an exact sceince. Players that tick all the boxes (David Platt/Bobby Moore/Bryan Robson) ,who you believe have everything required go on to become failures. Whilst Mangers who do well at Clubs, completely mess up when moving to another (Lawrie Mac/Mike Walker/Paul Ince). Being sacked at a previous job,should be no bar to getting the Saints job (WGS). Personally, although Tisdale looks to have promise and tick a lot of the boxes, I would urge caution at this stage of his career. -10 (possible more) next year is going to be tough and expections will proberly be too high. I would like someone whose been around the block once or twice, is used to League 1/CCC, to steady the ship for 2 or 3 years.Ronnie Moore/Cotterill would be my choice, whilst keeping an eye on Tisdale's progress. There is plenty of time for him to manage Saints.

I thought Oaks looked tired and stale towards the end of his Saints career. I think the move to Derby perked him up (in a similar way Big Sam did to KD). Personally, although out of position I thought his performance at Fratton (4-1) was one of the most gutless I've seen from a Saints player in nearly 40 years (along with about 8 others). Lets not look back with rose tinted glasess, he did not deserve more than a year on his form at the time. However as he is a Saint through and through, I'm pleased by his sucsess since leaving.

Until we're out of admin, we wont have much say in who stays and who goes. The Administrator has a legal duty to get as much money for creditors as possible. After Sunday, any offer for any players, will be accepted.

This part of the original post is disgraceful: Turning up at the end of the game in the hospitality suites - with Nick Holmes and Mark Dennis in tow - wielding buckets to "save our club" is a sign of how inappropriate and embarrassing Mr Crouch has become" If Crouch had taken the same approach as Lowe and Wilde post admin, there wouldn't have been a game for him to be "inapproiate and embarrassing" on Saturday. How on earth someone trying to collect money to keep the Club going until a buyer is found, can be slated like this is beyond me.

This ties in with a post I read last week, regarding Redknapp on the golf course. Something along the lines of "Saints will be ok, someone I know is buying them".

I set my watch for the injury time and it was about 1 minute short. The Ref was a disgrace, however by running on the pitch our "supporters" have given the FA/Ref's assesor a get out. I'm surprised there was not more of a fuss made about the lack of time. One thing's for sure, he'll not make the Premiership and Old Trafford with time keeping like that.

I was sick to death of Lowe doing the media rounds and I'm sick to death of Crouch doing the same (although at least he didn't whine "it's not my fault) I thought Lawrie came accros pretty well and seemed very upset and passionate about the situation. Obviously media outlets are going to ask Lawrie, as like it or not, the media view him as some sort of Mr Southampton. I also thought Mawhinney came accros well on Talksport this morning, although Brazil went pretty easy on him.

The Premier League dont have rules around Admin and points deduction, so it makes no difference either way.

Bang on the money. We need to move on and try to stay up so the 10 points are deducted this season. It would give us a small glimmer of pride and would help future generations of supporters to claim, we were only relegated by events and rules off the pitch. Why can't the Lowe Luvvies accept Pearson's done very well at Leicester, certainly better than Jan or Wotte would have done, and it was a massive mistake not keeping him. This constant sniping and "kept us up by 20 mins" line, is getting boring. He obviously got the job at Leicester on the back of what he did at saints, so must have impressed some people. Supporters of WBA and Newcastle speak very highly of him, following his caretaker roles there, and obviously Leicester fans are happy with him. It seems to me that the only set of supporters who seem to run him down are Rupert Lowe's fan Club .

The Club had an overdraft limit and we went over it. That is down to Lowe, nobody else. He turned down offers for players in Jan despite the bank pushing for player sales. The bank just didn't withdraw the Overdraft for no reason, Lowe went over it and the Bank pulled the plug. He didn't go into admin after the deadline out of spite, it was incompetance. He thought he could bluff the bank, he didn't believe the bank would pull the carpet from under him.He made a stunning misjudgement and totally misjudged Barclay's position.

This talk of Crouch investing £2mil to save us from admin is nonsense. Once Barclays bounced Cheques they were making a statement. "The game was up". Put it like this, we have Season Ticket renewals coming up(which is gate money up front), we have a transfer window coming up (we could sell, sell, sell). We had contracts coming to an end. Why would the bank put us into admin at this stage of the season, over a small amount? The answer clearly is, they lost faith in Lowe. Instead of asking why Crouch didn't invest his £2mil, questions should be asked as to why offers for Lallana and Surman were turned down in Jan. barclays statement clearly states they asked for player's to be sold. WHY WERE'NT THEY.

There's no way we'll get this near the end of the season and we wont fulfill our fixtures. Our results will be struck from the record and someone could be relegated or not promoted because of that, the League/FA will not want to deal with the fall out of that. Between them the League, FA, and PFA will find a way to pay the players and finish the season.

You can hardly compare Barry Horne's goal (which the keeper should have saved IMO) to the goal which won a tricky away tie, and set up an all English Champions League Semi Final. Le Tiss scored some great goals, but Ronaldo, Like him or hate him, has scored important goals and given some fantastic performances at a much higher level. Although admiring Matt's loyalty, the real shame is he didn't get a chance to shine(as I've no doubt he would have, if managed properly) at the same sort of level.

My understanding was Leeds appeal was to the other FL Clubs, they could not resort to the courts, as this right was signed away.

If we aren't deducted the 10 points, then the League will not be able to withhold the Golden Share, as the Club would not have been in Admin. However, If the League proved the Club went into Admin and we can not exit with a CVA, we have to accept any terms the League impose on us to get it back. It could be payback time for Lowe's loophole.To receive their share the Club have to sign their right of legal action away.
