  1. When Lowe's youth policy can match the talent Lawrie, Chris and Dave Merrington nurtered, brought on and produced then perhaps he can start blowing his own trumpet. Lawrie ect produced the talent to play in the first team and benefit the club, Lowe does it to sell at a profit.
  2. You should tell Rupert, he thinks the youth policy started in 1997.
  3. Signing Pulis is one of the strangest decisions I can remember in my 40 years of support. Had Redknapp been manager and signed another Manager's son, who couldn't get a game, was injured until the Jan window and we have no money, questions would be asked. I'm sure people would say something dodgey was going on. Why was he signed and was the signing in anyway linked to them taking Davies?
  4. I am a member and I have not been to as many games as I normally do (nothing to do with Lowe/Wilde despite being anti) and I certainly haven't been to as many as my mate whose not. However, whilst I stumped up my £20 for membership, he laughed at me saying there's no need, as tickets will be easy to get. I paid for a membership for this very reason and that should be taken into account.
  5. But he's cheap..........
  6. Yes, that's right, I wrote it the wrong way round. I think I'm right in saying that in every case it's the taxman whose put the Clubs into admin.
  7. Luton were given extra for financial dealings and Boscombe for entering admin for the second time. In our case it would proberly be -15. The taxman is opposing all CVA's if football creditors are being paid in full. FA rules dictate Football creditors are paid in full, so the taxman will oppose every one. The only senerio where they are unable to do so, is if 75% (I think that's the figure) of creditors agree with the CVA. At every Club so far, the Taxman has been owed so much money, they easily have over 25% of the debt so can block any other agreements. Admin used to be an option for wiping the slate clean and starting again, it certainly isn't now.
  8. Bally's Managerial career was hardly an all round sucsses. His best spell was with Lawrie alongside him...........
  9. This person who casued all these problems, is it not the man that Lowe has installed as The Football Club Chairman? and is his new business partner Was that one of the tough decisions that he's "not afraid of making". Was sacking NP one of those "tough decisions" as well?
  10. Had NP remained at the Club, Stern would have 8-10 goals by now, in my opinion. The fact he's only got 1, is a reflection on the Manager. Had he been given the starts and mins on the pitch McG's had he'd have scored more goals..........
  11. If we're loaning out all our high earners regardless of whether they could do a job for us, perhaps it's time to loan out Rupert and Cowan. How much are they paid for their part time role, and can we really afford it?
  12. Of course they wouldn't, and it's only because Lowe employed him and Crouch employed Pearson, that there's any support for that appointment on here. Had Leon Crouch sacked Pearson and replaced him with JP, there would have been uproar from the Anti Crouch bunch..........
