Have you seriously got nothing better to do?

Alive and well in Fratton

Yeah, done right it builds super fit athletes. There’s actually nothing new about it, it’s been used by the American special forces for a long time now. It was made into a competitive sport by an ex navy seal but the culture around is proper weird. They also burn out quite quickly, too. I also would do it again in my 40’s (as I am) because I’d probably break

A little bed time reading for our resident duck porn director http://educatingourworld.com/index.php/coming-books

Just noticed this. I’ve spent a fair bit of time in and around the CrossFit scene over the last 7 years or so. All I can say about it is that done right, with a good ‘coach’ and proper technique, the results are great! However, it’s built around pushing yourself to and beyond personal limits which waaaay too often leads to long lasting injuries. My physio is an ex saints physio and advises physio practices to move close to their nearest CrossFit gym because they’ll never be short of work. The ‘community/cult’ however is proper ghey

You’ve consistently and militantly said that you don’t believe there’s any evidence to support the bible. So what’s the point in me wasting my time. However, WHEN I CAN BE BOTHERED, I’ll dig out a video or 2 of someone explaining the existence of God much better than I can.

They took a grand total of 3 minutes to write. To explain what I need to, to someone like you would take a damn sight longer than that. I take it back, you really are boring and f*****g man baby at that.
-
Because of this!
-
Actually, a quick summary won’t really do because people like you (as you’ve proved over and over again) are never satisfied
-
Here we go again... Do the 10 commandments say thou shalt not murder? Yes Therefore, as I keep on saying, you simply don’t get it. This is why people stop responding to you.
-
My bad, I shouldn’t have called you boring.
-
It will be outlawed in the no too distant future. Anyway, as you keep banging on about answering questions “would you ban Christianity or make it punishable if you could”?
-
The reason I’m holding off fully answering the question is because: 1. It would be an essay 2. Would mean me entering into a debate I don’t have the time for 3. Unlike most of the UK population, I’m still neck deep in work and aren’t being paid by the government to have an extended holiday. 4. Because of 3, I can’t do 1 & 2 Trouble is, you say you’ve read the bible, but you haven’t understood it. For example, your last cherry picking was about God killing the first born males in Egypt. But what you failed to see was that they were holding the Jews captive over a long period and had been warned a number of times to release them or face the consequences. Why didn’t you talk about the slavery of the Jews leading up to the Passover?
-
Out of interest, MLG. If you could ban Christianity outright, would you?
-
What’s the point in trying to explain anything to you when you’ve predetermined the outcome? All we ever do with you is go round in circles. You’ve had things explained to you in the past but you can’t accept the answer because your pride won’t let you. I’ve gotta be honest, I find you incredibly boring
-
For every debate MLG enters, this is the ending. https://tenor.com/bioro.gif

Silence when walking the dog around the beautiful south. Just me, the dog and the birds (and sometimes the kids who never shut up) No school run hassle 1st thing in the morning Less people around Less people around Less people around

And he never will. He constantly bangs on about things like mass murder, but what does the 5th commandment say? “Thou shalt not murder” He fundamentally cannot grasp what’s going on in the bible.
-
So you’d accept their stance and leave it at that, without hounding him/her. Do you believe in Alexander the Great?
-
So the question remains What you gonna do if mini MLG turns to Christ?
-
MLG is trying to prove that any future child of his won’t believe in God because it’ll have had a ‘rational’ upbringing. Therefore if someone believes in God they can’t be a‘rational thinker’. I’m merely pointing out that’s clearly cobblers
-
Not to mention geniuses such as Blaise Pascal, who’s notable mathematical works include assisting with the development of the calculus of probabilities, which later became known as the mathematical theory of probabilities. Or Isaac Newton, who indeed studied bible prophecy. Add some of the best authors ever to that list, too. Including Tolkien and C S Lewis
-
Basically I’d be surprised if he even answers my question, because he’ll either have to suck it up, relax his opinions and accept someone else’s viewpoint and beliefs (unlikely) or tell his child to stay away. Understanding and unconditional love forms a happy child.
-
You constantly lambast people for not answering questions but you’re worse than the rest of us WHAT WILL YOU DO IF IT TURNS TO GOD And by the way, just so we’re clear on ‘rational thinkers’, at the church I go to there is everyone from doctors to petrochemical engineers. And as for me, I study algorithms and patents for a living so I guess I fit into the ‘rational thinking’ way of life, too.

He’s too thick (or blinded by self righteous pride) to see it
