I can't say i am that surprised - i thougth that some of the 'we only have to turn up to win' views on here were a bit wide of the mark. I don't think we have had a single corner yet - we are not pressing them enough. We will do well to get all three points today -let's hope the second half is a bit better.

Well I want a win and am hoping for one but some of you on here seem to think we only have to turn up and the result is assured. It almost sounds complacent. Wycombe will be a big test-like any other side we play.

I think there are some widly unrealistic assessments on here. This match is live on television -it is also not that cheap to buy tickets at a time when many are tightening their belts. I remember us only getting around 25,000 when we played Spurs (2003?) in the Cup and won 4 - 0. We are a third division side - how many other third tier sides would fill a stadium with 32,000 people? We have done very well to sell out just a few days after getting a huge gate for the MK match. It is great and will be a superb atmosphere.

I agree with you on the Cup games, but he is surely right to want better in the league. We really don't want to settle for second best any longer.

We are simply not good enough with this side.

I'm sorry but this is very poor - what happened to the flowing football we were playing a couple of months ago? We seem to have difficulty scoring these days.

I am pleased that Pompey are losing but i am much more concerned that Saints should win. Also, some of your gloating is starting to make me quite concerned about the result next Saturday! Come on Saints let's score again and win today.

It sounds to me as though Saints need to up their game and start the second half with more intensity. I can see us getting another draw here unless we can make our superiority count.
