I know it really never came to light and we really havent had a definate answer, but when I started the Rudi Skacel appearance money topic a few months ago some thought it was plausible and some slated me but I have just read JP's comments on the OS. "Stern has spoken to Bristol City and we have agreed that he will join them on loan. He is one of the biggest earners at Southampton and with the clubs current financial situation means we were unable to offer him first team football and the wages that go with it" Now I read this in 2 ways. 1. We ARE REALLY in the **** and cannot actually pay the wage bill and administration is literally around the corner. 2. His appearance money / bonus etc is very high? and again the club cannot justify paying it very much like what I originally heard about Rudi and why he wasnt playing. I personally think it is number 2 and I bet if I email Mr Cowen I get the same answer as before about Rudi. Now is this JP's decision to let him go or the board!

Like I said in another post I didnt go yesterday and it didnt hurt not being at SMS. I drove past SMS just after Watford scored their second goal and people were leaving in their droves. My mate rang me this morning and said that loads of people left the Northam at half time. He did make me laugh by saying that stewards were saying "if you leave you will not be able to come back in" which was promptly answered with "why the **** do I wanna go back in to watch that shower of ****e" People dont care or are losing the passion. Yesterday also proved it is not a money thing, people are so ****ed off with the crap that is being served. I have known Saint Jason I reckon going on for nearly 15 years going to football, under the east at the Dell, Itchen at SMS and for him to act this way just shows how bads things really are.

I totally agree. Most have nothing to hide and I dont fall for this "infrigment of rights etc" Its the same as the national ID scheme, bring it on I reckon. No one complains about having a passsport, or national insurance number as it is the norm.

I didnt go to the game today due to child minding issues, but if really needed could have sent the little fella to my mums or the in laws and wondered down to SMS. But I didnt. The reason being I no longer have the passion or inclination. I didnt renew my season ticket after we got relegated but went all the time, and when I made the decision not to goto a game I would suddenly feel the urge to go and then get my missus to drop me off at SMS with about 10 mins to go. But that urge is slowing going or to be perfectly honest has gone. Today I drove past SMS just after Watford scored their second, and was surprised to see hordes of people leaving the stadium shaking their heads. Im afraid this result along with others will make many people like myself lose the urge or passion to goto football. I went to Tesco at Bursledon just after the final whistle and saw many faces I recongise from SMS, and none had been to game today and were amazed at the result. A few of them didnt even know the result which shows me how low supporting Saints has come.

Evening, basically have loads of divx and avi files that I want to convert to DVD format. Do not want to buy anything, so you guys got any suggestions for some decent free software?
