  1. Of course bear in mind its not TBs call to give Chinney his discount its PKF. They would be mad to agree to his terms because of the effects on future business. Its soon going to be toast time. Yippee!!!!
  2. I have been reading this thread daily for the last six months. I have enjoyed the entertainment it has provided me at the expense of the cheats on Portsea island. I have not had a strong desire to add to it however the time has come for me to add my penny worth. I cannot keep quiet any longer. It has been debated long and hard all of the options open to the blue phew but the truth is there is only on option, BANKRUPTCY!! I have been increasingly angered by the work done by TB as administrator. He has a legal duty while running the club not to run up further debts. This is not in the interests of the creditors who he is representing. If I was a creditor I would be hopping mad at his performance to date. Simply put without the offloading of the high wage-earners they are done for. He has had plenty of time to achieve this and he has failed big time. Following the creditors meeting one week ago he has four weeks to fix the unfixable before they go pop. He has had another week to negotiate with TBH and others. What have we had back, nothing! If nothing is going to happen now it never will, which we have all expected Trevor Birch close them down and close them down NOW. It is your legal duty.
  3. Five live have just discussed the Billy Sharp signing and expect that with Lambert this is a fantastic signing. It was also said that the rumor is Saints are in line for Upson from Stoke.
  4. Its not often that I agree with Alpine but on this issue I agree with every word. I realy do not see the Premier League as the promised land. Just the land of utter greed and corruption. To ride high in the Championship and give any team a good game in the cups will suit me fine.
  5. I cannot add to this. A perfect summary of what I saw. Well done saints!!!
  6. I am supprised that there are no votes for Lambert yet. I was very impressed with his hold up play. When not rugby tackled he held the ball up well and distributed the the ball to great effect. Seriously it is very hard to pick a clear winner. It was a great team performance.
  7. Me too. As I work evenings and Saturdays this badly affects me visiting St Marys. I have been so impresed with saints so far this season I hope they do not let me down!!
  8. I'm all for it so long as its not used to hurl abuse. A third party view can often shed light which otherwise might be missed. Besides its much nicer receiving a complimentary comment from an opposing team rather than other saints fans on the forum.
  9. I remember the match well. I am sure those that went will remember the blizzard that occured on the route home. I do as I wrote my car off in it. At least we won the match though.
  10. I am puzeled as to why Milwall's highest home attendance was 60000K!!!!
  11. What about England only need 32 runs to win the first test.
  12. Keep the faith DP Saint. Be prepared for a game of brinkmanship until the end. As previously said on the forum the process will be a bit like an Ebay auction with an outcome not decided untill the very end. I have faith in that what is for sale can be a good purchase for a commited owner. 'It'l be alright on the night' !!
  13. I disagree. The analogy is good because like it or not football clubs these days almost always have to run like proper businesses. Your model of a football club is only true if you have an owner(s) who will pour money into the club with no realistic expectation of seeing any return on their spending. These clubs are in a minority and shrinking fast. When all of the turmoil of the last few weeks ends I am sure you will find hard nosed business men owning SFC and expecting a return on their investment.
  14. So if a shop sells rubbish goods with a poor level of service and goes out of business as a result then the customer is to blame for the failure rather than the shop management!!!!!
  15. If as a season ticket holder you do write to the Administrator you are of course running up more costs that SFC will have to pay!!!!!
  16. It seams very clear to me that the fans can now play a vital part in the next 24 days. Namely that St Marys is full for home games and that a large travelling contingent go to away games. We need to demonstrate to any potential buyer what level of support they can expect if they come up with the investment.
