Can't say I agree with the sentiment. We were unlucky today and we're not in the relegation zone. Things are not great but lets not go overboard with the pessimism. When we win with Davis being the MOTM we're doomed, when we lose but we are by far the better side we're doomed. I'd say we're just below expectations at the moment but nothing to get too worried about.

Absolute ******. We had chance after chance the first 20 mins of the second half. Unless you can guarantee Pekhart would have scored I think JP's decision was justified. We were playing well before halftime offensively so why change that?

Its all semantics I suppose but yes we do play with one central defender but our two wingers have a lot more attacking freedom then the wingers would have in a 4 4 2. Besides that Lallana plays close to the striker so in my opinion the phrase "we're playing one upfront" even though you could argue it to be true does not explain how we are playing.

What an incredible kneejerk reaction, if we had scored the penalties this match would have been very very different and we'd been talking about promotion again. Lets look past the score and look how it came about. Yes the defense wat terrible but we also created chance after chance only to find a marvelous Lee in our way.

I don't get why Perry is not playing, the combination of Cork and Lancashire is too inexperienced. The defense has been diabolical! We need a new (tall) defender (maybe that Gerrard guy we were after in August?). Svensson could have been that guy but we can't trust him to be fit every week.

Why not? If he's better he's ready. He'll make a few mistakes but we'll just have to accept that. Its not like Bale and Walcott suffered from playing in the first team at a young age (and Mills seems to be doing alright as well). So why, if he's better, shouldn't he play?

I wouldn't be surprised if he's going to be on the bench quite soon. The OS has been talking up his performances in the reserves for quite some time now. With James not totally convincing so far (although JP seems to think otherwise) and Argent's best position being RB he must get a chance sooner rather then later.
