Although the initial loans are for 6 months it remains to be seen if they will actually return to their clubs. If Cork stays in the team I'd imagine Chelsea will be more then happy to let him stay here (unless a PL club would want to loan him). The same would go for most of the loans.
Is he a left or a right winger? I can actually see the need for both sides. DMG is creating stuuf down the right occasionally but doesn't offer any protection to James (maybe that's why James looks average?) and on the left we have a gaping hole since Holmes got injured (although I hope Skacel will get a chance there).
I think we'll stay up, we certainly have the quality. its up to Jan to make sure we don't go on long losing streaks, if that happens and we can't turn it around with the young squad we might end up in trouble afterall.
I think suffered from the rather big fee we paid for him (£1.2 million?). After his terrible season in the PL nobody thought he was worth that (forgetting he was also instrumental to Sunderlands promotion). For some reason Burley (or Webster) never got the best out of him for two years but now he's back at the level which got him CCC goallie of the year Ipswhich finished 3rd.
Seems a good result but we have to keep in mind we're not playing the PL sides anymore. I hope Wotte will manage to arrange a few of those friendlies against the PL reserve teams he was talking about earlier in the season.
I don't really get the "he'll be gone by January" obession. Sure he's in demand and I'm sure several clubs will come in for him but I doubt if we'll let him actually leave in January. We'll tell the clubs they can have him from this summer for the same price. This of course does depend on Lallana not making a fuss but I doubt he will do that this in January already.
Nope but stragely enough when you watch the post-match interview with Robertson then you can see he goal so SaintsTV must have the footage. I'm a bit confused as to why it has not been uploaded yet.
