  1. Watford & Plymouth take the lead.
  2. He's a loanee.
  3. Muffins: Bake & destroy!
  4. Players out. MUFFINS: BAKE & DESTROY!!!!
  5. Fair enough if a player that had played for us this season would have started instead. But if the choice is young player that has been here for less then a week or experienced player that has been with the club for quite some time but has not featured this season I'd generally go for the latter (even if that means shifting some players around).
  6. I like that motto. BAKE & DESTROY!!!
  7. I meant Robertson. D'oh!
  8. Very surprised that Paterson is chosen over Skacel, Skacel must really doing **** all in training. I just don't get it otherwise. Very attacking bench as well, who's gonna come on if one of the defenders gets injured?
  9. M U F F I N S ! ! ! Saints: (from) Davis, Forecast, James, Perry, Lancashire, Mills, Cork, Surman, McGoldrick, Lallana, Pekhart, Wright-Phillips, Robertson, White, Paterson, Skacel, Hatch. I imagine the lineup will be: Davis James Perry Lancashire Mills Cork Surman DMG Lallana Skacel Pekhart
  10. That made me lol I'd say mine are usually a 3 but sometimes I make a nice 1.
  11. If Morgan is out that will be a big loss. We haven't played one decent minute without him.
  12. It gives their managers a chance to scout Lallana without having to leave their hosue.
  13. So her parents were ****ging in the sea when she was conceived?
  14. ING is not taking over ABN AMRO after all, so I'd say its safe to put your money with them.
  15. Player prices don't seem to be influenced a lot by the credit crunch so far and 1 million doesn't come close to his value to the club as a player. Especially since he has more then 2.5 years left on his contract.
  16. I subscribed to it as well. Just for information, on what day will the new podacasts be uploaded?
  17. Claridge seems to value all our players at £1 million..... Surman and Dyer were labelled the same.
  18. negative?
  19. Rory Delap.
  20. He went off for Perry in the 66th minute. HTH
  21. He was born Dutch but has actaully played for the Austrian national football team (and scored against Holland once). I'm not sure about his managerial style but I doubt if he's a typical Dutch manager. I'd say he's been properly Austrianized .
  22. In newsarticles about the possible collapse of Dutch/Belgium Bank/Insurance company Fortis the newspapers mention the Belgian goverment covers all regular savings and pensions savings. Btw, the rumour in the Netherlands is that ING are taking over ABN AMRO from Fortis. Fortis only bought ABN AMRO just before the credit crunch and have not even really completed the take over. Even though ING are sort of making a good deal (they're going to pay a lot less for ABN AMRO then Fortis did when they bought it together with RBS and Banco Santander) the stock market is not reacting very well to it. Interesting times even with Dutch banks.
  23. First of all, Surman and Holmes (to name two) are not CCC material and Dyer is? Dyer hasn't played a decent match all season. 1. Maybe DMG hasn't been performing as he should have but neither has John in the (limited) chances he's had. Maybe John should play, maybe Pekhart, maybe that new guy or maybe DMG but to say that John has to start is a bit OTT. That would just be based on last season in a different formation. 2. Skacel's exclusion is bewildering but I doubt if its down to the appearance fees, the club have even gone out and denied that allegation. 3. Maybe he wanted to test Killer before giving him another runout in the CCC. Especially after his dissapointing performance against Blackpool. Besides that I believe Killer said he could play, what's a coach supposed to do then? Not believe the player? 4. Scheiderlin has been injured and it looked like he went off with a knock again. Seems sensible to me to take him of at 2-0 to make sure he doesn't aggravate any injury he might have. 5. A bit of pace at CB (and height) doesn't hurt anyone. Lancashire made a stupid mistake against QPR but he played well against Doncaster. But he is a better partner for Wotton then Perry IMHO. 6. So what exactely are you blaming Lowe here for? Not selling Lallana? Because in my opinion he was right to reject the bid. If he's sold later for more money we'll have to wait and see but lets just wait until that happens before we start blaming him for doing that. All in all, although you raise some valid points about team selection your arguments are not very well thought through in my opinion. Any choice that turns out wrong is a blunder and even if the right choice is made (taking Scheiderlin off for instance) you still manage to twist it to fir your argument.
