  1. Well forgive me if I'm stating the obvious nickh but a number of good folks above seem to be suggesting that all will be OK as long as we escape relegation this year (so that we can rebuild next). I'm humbly suggesting that this won't work as the club would be out of business through low attendances.
  2. Sorry to say I agree with you on this alpine. Clearly a lot of people aren't going to pay to see so called attractive football if we're not winning many matches. If we continue near the bottom of the table this season, attendances will be low, the club will continue to lose money and we will be lucky to still have a club at the end of the season. The aim has to be a top half finish this season in order to get the income that good gates produce, otherwise we won't survive.
  3. I predict that if we don't start winning more matches over the next month and people don't come to watch attractive losing football, money will be found to install an experienced manager. It may require bank approval to fund it but they are not going to want to see the club fold as they won't recoup their debts. Who wants to buy a second hand stadium in the middle of Southampton?
  4. Am I wrong?
  5. I can't really see why Lowe or anyone at Saints should want to take a blind bit of notice of a mouthy ex-pat who never sets foot in the ground.
  6. Well it proves that it isn't worth reading any of the other tripe he writes either.
  7. It actually looks much better than it was. I've just registered. I don't mind paying £5 for something I use but I'm not too keen on being instructed to pay for something that used to be free. Had I been asked to donate I probably would have. It's The Ugly for me.
  8. So if his Supremeness has such brilliant contacts what exactly has been the hold-up in bringing the investment in? After all Lowe has been involved at Saints since 1996. You are spouting ******** in my view scooby.
  9. So Lowe is our Abramovic. That's alright then, I can hardly wait to see the investment that he'll bring to the club given all his contacts. :smt017
  10. Where or were? IMO anyone that illiterate isn't really worth taking any notice of.
  11. Completely agree.
  12. It sounded like a promising start to me. From what I heard on the radio it augurs well for the future. Glass definitely half full IMO.
  13. Probably because you're talking with absolutely zilch knowledge of how they've been performing pre-season.
  14. Brilliant - thanks Bob. With Firefox I just double clicked the logo which brought up the fixtures file. I then just saved the csv and then imported it into Outlook. I've now got it on my mobile.
