  1. Ex-missus, shurely?
  2. Nope, have managed to never make it there!
  3. But the two away games over Xmas (at Colchester and Barnsley) we played well and should have one both. But for one of the dodgiest offsides given ever, we'd have beaten Col U, and we had numerous chances to win at Barnsley. Hardly a massive dip in form when you are going away and playing so well. There is no doubt that Dodd and Gorman created the mess.
  4. Best - Castrol R (speedway) Worst - Probably my post kebab craps.
  5. That certainly isn't the reason for this thread. The reason is to boost your own ego and play your game of "I know best, everyone else is an idiot." Also, it is possible to think that we were below par for all of last season, but also think that Burley is a decent manager. That thought appears to not have occurred to you.
  6. This thread is sad, and pointless. It appears some people must always have something to moan about, and must continue their pointless quest for oneupmanship. I see absolutely no point to this discussion, whatsoever.
  7. You appear to have missed out a certain Welsh ground.
  8. I will be there! Or something.
  9. Don't act so surprised - it's an excellent sport, and as CF says, even better live. Speedway bikes accelerate quicker than F1 cars, yet have no brakes!
  10. Peterborough were rumoured to be dropping down to the Premier League this season, and I can see them considering applying to drop down next season - they just don't seem to be able to survice in the EL. However, in better news, there was a huge crowd at Swindon last night, and I'm told there were around 4,500 at Poole on Wednesday.

  12. Tonight: Spent too much at speedway last night, so will be a night in with wii, and maybe read some of book. Tomorrow: Caerdydd Sunday: Footie training, watch rubbish Scottish football on teh telly and then couple of drinks in the evening. w00t.
  13. Certainly not having the season he did last. Coventry not doing particularly well, but I'm not sure what the most up-to-date average is for Bomber as he hasn't ridden 6H and 6A meetings, so his Green Sheet Average is still only the 3H, 3A one of 7.73. Poole romped to a fantastic 51-42 win at Swindon last night, to pull away at the top of the league. Bjarne got 11, with Holder and Zetterstrom getting paid 11 each, and Eriksson paid 10.
  14. Thing is, with the exception of Benham, they all made starts. Also, 3 of them got past 40, which is perfectly acceptable. It's average, rather than bad, but we do need Pothas and Mascarenhas to get some extra runs for us.
  15. Why the f*ck did I pay money to read this kind of complete sh*t post? I f*cking hate you all, you boring f*cktards.

Oh good, more total boredom monotony then. 27 new songs about the skates as well, I believe. Yippee.
  17. Well, we need to re-ignite the ever popular speedway thread. The mighty Poole Pirates returned to the top of the league last night, with an 8 point win over previous league leaders Lakeside, but the week doesn't get any easier, with a visit to third placed Swindon. I am very much looking forward to the meeting this evening. In other news, Hans Andersen had a big strop, and moved to Coventry.
  18. There's nothing wrong with it, it just isn't exactly Champion Beer of Britain material. Also, this may be my 3rd post. Why is my payment taking so long to go through, damn it?!
  19. Now the big car park is gone it's a little bit tougher - managed to park in a side road on the opposite side of Ninian Park train station last year, which was excellent - just round the corner from the Ninian Pub (to be avoided!!). Of course, you could park in the city centre, and to this end I recommend a search for "Algebra Ltd" and get directions to them, as the road they are on is right next to the Millenium Stadium, but is free parking.
  20. I would pay the fiver if Steve replied to my e-mail!!
