    R.E.M @ rose bowl

Just about to depart. No idea about Guillemots, absolutely detest Editors, but looking forward to REM. See you there!
  2. We have two loan players. Two. Good to see some negativity though. I was getting worried all the negative people had run away. Also, you have used the word "loose" - which makes no sense. Edit: I see you have edited your poor grammar. I must wonder, how many of our players did you think were on loan? Are you this negative in every day life?
  3. Er, all the two Brum games have proved is that we are capable of beating or losing to Birmingham. It doesn't give any insight as to the rest of the league, especially considering that Birmingham are top of the league.
  4. By the way, I dragged fish_fingers along to his first ever speedway meeting on Monday. I know he glanced at this thread for research - perhaps he will post he thoughts.
  5. £8 certainly was a lot, I'll give you that. !
  6. I get a feeling you'll be the first of many. But glad to hear. And how did you manage to explain not going to home games to the nipper?
  7. Apparantly a win on Wednesday means we are guaranteed top two.
  8. Perhaps if you'd read this thread then you'd see why you can't buy a ticket online. Still, we know how much common sense you have.
  9. Another solid all round performance from the Pirates. With Lakeside having suffered some serious injuries to top riders, the league is now ours for the taking.
  10. Absolutely fantastic performance, especially in the 2nd half. Quality football. I though Simon Gillet was immense.
  11. At least this thread isn't about bacon.
  12. FartPants in non-sensical post shocker.

    Riga

Riga is brilliant, really enjoyed it. If you end up paying 1 Lat (almost exactly £1) a pint then you are paying too much. Go to another bar. Of course, in the crappy industrial sh*thole of Daugavpils, we were paying only 30p a pint. Them were the days.
  14. Uber-long weekend for moi: Friday: Return to Ferndown. Go to pub. Saturday: Derby v Saints. On return, pub. Sunday: Family BBQ or similar. Pub quiz. Monday: Doss around. 6pm Poole v Peterborough speedway, then curry. Tuesday: Saints v Birmingham Wednesday: REM at the Rose Bowl Thursday: Get up at early o'clock to get back to Bath for two day week of work. Huzzah for me.
  15. Urgh, I don't want to go anymore. F*cking beach party. What the f*ck is football coming to?!
  16. Not in Bournemouth next year. Grrrrr, very angry. They've gone and stuck one week in some "arena" in the Devon countryside, and have introduced family enclosures. Darts is ruined.
  17. I haven't. I love the way we are trying to play football, I'm excited by the long-term ambition of this set up. Sure, this season might turn out to be a lower mid-table finish, but that doesn't worry me. We are playing football the right way, lots of quick passing football. Don't be put off by negativity on here, Jan, there's still plenty of positivity around.
  18. Typical alpine. As soon as someone disagrees with him he has a big childish strop. Proving, once again, why he should be banned.
  19. Unfortunately, it appears these days that 85% of our fans are total mongs. This is why they are all utterly depressing. Having said that, the ones that bother to turn up on matchday are more positive about the whole thing. Still, alpine thinks anyone that goes to a game is an "idiot", and as well all know, alpine is always right.
  20. F*cking hell. Our fans must be some of the most negative mong-like c*ckles in existence.
  21. alpine_saint is utterly pointless negative drivel non-shock. I feel sorry for anyone that has ever had to talk to you in real life. Unless they punched you in the gob, then I'd buy them a pint.
  22. I work in an office with an exceptionally noisy eater. It is incredibly annoying. I presume that she must eat with her mouth open to be able to make so much noise. Why can't people eat properly. Someone I used to share an office with used to bit down onto their spoon when eating. This was one of the most painful sounds of all time. I wish I had my own office, where I could shut the door and become blissfully unaware of these events.
  23. If that's how she chooses to waste her benefits, then what's the big deal? Personally, she should probably be spending it on food and drink and rent etc, but if she wants to spend what little she gets on pointless taxi trips then more fool her. p.s. When I was on the dole, I used my £45 a week to go to the speedway.
  24. Friday: Went to a mates for bbq, beer and wii Saturday: Long day at teh footy. Swindon lost - the only bet on my accumulator which didn't come in, costing me about £600. Sunday: Had football training. Did sod all the rest of the day really, watched Moto GP and baseball and played some wii. Also read plenty of my book. Score 6/10
  25. What a load of completely fabricated made-up twaddle. Perhaps we should all just make stuff up and then pretend we are right.
