There's no right or wrong way to manage. It's all very well shouting and hollering on the sidelines, but does it really do any good? Poortvliet is more of a coach, and comes from that school of doing things. Unfortunately, that way is not employed much in Britain - we seem to prefer people who wave their arms about. The fact that Poortvliet uses this method is of no great concern to me.
I have no problem with a striker shooting from that position. It was a poor shot, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. I would want him to shoot 10 times out of 10 from there.
Which Bryan May?
(Also, I looked, and it appears to be spelt "Brian". That's possibly why I only spent a short time in the band, I couldn't spell my own name. It went Brian, Brian, Bryan, Brian. FACT.)
They stop giving you North Sea Oil?
Boring answer: Scotland could survive as an independent state. It would qualify for extra EU funding, and the Oil would obviously be worth money. I have also heard an argument that they could claim for past monies from the oil, although I don't know how feasible that is.
I don't understand the point of this post on the basis that there isn't an English army. The is a British Army. Therefore, the same proportion of Scots troops should be deployed across the world as English troops. Therefore, what?
I have thought about going, but as mentioned I don't particularly want to go by train. Henceforth, I have not consulted the train timings. I guess I would want to get there sometime between 1 and 2.
Bought my train tickets for this one earlier today. Arriving just after 10am. Shuttle bus to the ground is quite decent to get. Stewards are a nightmare. The above ticket number sounds about right, around 2500.
