  1. Can't use the on-line thing. I really need to sort that out. Have got Tranmere tickets now. Lady was surprised I wasn't calling for Wembley!
  2. Please stop buying Wembley tickets, as I need to get some for Tranmere on Sat.
  3. Espionage was decent enough last June.
  4. Edinburgh is awesome. Go to Haymarket Square, lots of pubs, and one big club I forget name of. Also, there is a little cobbled street just above Princes Street with lots of pubs on. It is a boozing paradise. Edit: I don't mean Haymarket, I mean the Grassmarket! Edit 2: But if in Haymarket go to pub called the Spider's Web at 6am - it will be open and serving.
  5. Lucky guesses.
  6. Your tips always lose, so probably for the best.
  7. It's no "Random horse tips" thread.
  8. I deliberately provoke debate and discussion. As evidenced by the number of replies.
  9. You just know that my threads will be the most interesting.
  10. A nice macaroni and cheese pie from an all night bakery in Edinburgh is clearly very important.
  11. I predict there will be an old person behind me in the ground who will want to sit down.
  12. Passionate.
  13. There won't be a referendum. The Bill won't get through the Scottish Parliament, only the SNP are in favour of it, and they don't have enough MSPs.
  14. He NEVER answers the question put to him, he always turn it into an anti-Europe rant.
  15. lol@you replying to the OP.
  16. David Luker replies to e-mails rather too quickly, sometimes!! Always had very good service from them.
  17. Tbf, there's probably only about 6 posters remaining who even remember that golden moment.
  18. lol. Perhaps if Hatch had actually bought that ST the skates wouldn't be in this mess.
  19. Of course, if we all read your favourite rag, we'd have welcomed Hitler with open arms. You win some, you lose some. In your case, you lose them all.
  20. He has said recently that in event of hung parliament he is not that interested in coalition, but will focus on getting Lib Dem four key themes implemented. I think he would then get the Lib Dems to abstain on Queen's Speech, so the government (whoever it was) would have a chance to govern.
  21. Exactly, and if you are a married working couple, then you will end up with £1,400 between you to spend, which can only be good news.
  22. Agree, is getting rather annoying all the short notice. Can't believe that Tranmere haven't sent us tickets yet. I guess the TO didn't want them going on sale at the same time as all the Wembley tickets - but perhaps they need to look at providing an option on the phone lines for away tickets, or only allow postal or fax applications so they can deal with them at best time, rather than getting caught up with everything else?
  23. Highlight of last night was Pete Smith, GB second, throwing down the wrong colour stone. Confused the hell out of expert curling commentator Steve Cram!
  24. Unless you happen to be a millionaire who is about going to die quite soon, I can't see what other tax cuts the Tories are proposing. Good news for Cameron and Osborne's millionaire friends.
