Phone up the club ticket office (not the buying number) information line and speak to someone there and explain the situation. Usually you are able to pick up duplicate tickets at the ground.

I always phone up at 8.30am and get through straight away. This is because people seem to think they open at 9am.

They had some 'nerds' (technical term) on Newsnight on Monday talking about the internet, and they agreed that social networking was, in fact, ruining the internet. This was because it was basically just everyone joining the same thing and conforming, there was no individuality - which is what makes the internet great. The also agreed that the older generation actually use facebook for useful purposes, but the younger generation are idiots who get swallowed up by the conformity of it all. That is about all I can add to this discussion, as I don't use the damn thing and never will.

I find these comments atrocious. Your Gran is clearly little more than a racist, and being old is no excuse. I have had plenty of good chats with taxi drivers both White British and foreign, and also have had some pretty moody taxi drivers from both camps. Also suffered from dodgy routes from both. Where you are from or what colour your skin is has no effect on your ability to be a taxi driver. Only a racist would think so.

I got 4 tickets (based on the money for 4 coming out of my account), and one of them hadn't been to 3 away games.

This is what has put me off. On the few occasions where we do have to sit in allocated seats (bizarrely enough, we often seem to create a better atmosphere when this happens!!) I wouldn't want to be stuck on my own.

There are several things I don't understand. 1) Why do the media seem to be totally ignoring the fact that Begovic has already played for 2 clubs this season? 2) If they don't manage to sell anyone now, how the bloody hell are they going to be able to pay future wage bills, considering they couldn't pay any of the last 4 on time? 3) Is there actually any hope for them?!
