He did alright for about 20 minutes, was running hard and moving the ball on quickly (set up a chance for Austin right before their first). After that he disappeared. When he reappeared he just seemed to want to try and dribble through 3 or 4 defenders when he got on the ball. He’s either not that bright, not very good or stubborn and thinks he knows best and is better than he really is. Not really what we want or need right now. He’s a Boufal lite.

Could be wrong but I think it is because he’s already had a red this season (for diving, another thing that they turn a blind eye to with big clubs).

I don’t get it, calling the ball the guvnor? Like, “Austin has to head that crossed guvnor into the goal”? Doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Weird.

Another training match. No doubt we'll do ok but give the ball away too much and concede two or three really poor goals. Clearing the deadwood and bringing in fresh blood cannot come soon enough. I wish we'll spend too much time trying to con teams into taking our **** players that we won't get a chance to bring anyone decent in.

Agree but one thing has changed. We’ve lost our captain and best player for what 3 games. Not good. Silly boy, game was over.

Thinking of the goals we’ve conceded lately. So many of them start with us in possession. Ralph has a clear system but our lot are just too talentless to achieve it.
