Exactly. It's the Saintsweb way to get the info that matches the agenda.
I don't care either way. It's not my money. I wanted the team strengthened and it has been. Every transfer comes with some inherent risk. Hoping he does really well. I'm feeling the excitement for this season. Hearing Sparky's press conference and the positivity surrounding the team/club this year was a breath of fresh air.
It's worth the risk IMO. If he does well, $20M will be a snip. It is likely that there are some stipulations in the contract with Liverpool about buying him (probably based on appearances/goals etc (i.e. if he gets injured or not).
A few on here are waiting with baited breath for his first mistake, ready to crow. Remember Wanyama getting castigated on here by the usual suspects for misplacing his first pass.
I don't mind this deal at all.
Too many on here have delusions of grandeur. We're Saints not Chelsea or Spurs or whatever. I remember the whinging on here when we got Bertrand.
Can't be that many here just for the windups?
If that's the case then quit your whining. We are stuck with these owners, nothing we as fans can do. Instead let's just get behind the team and (try and) enjoy the football. If not, then find some other hobby.
People just have to realise that yes we've made transfer mistakes (Boufal, Carillo etc.) and contract mistakes (FF) and that hamstrings us a bit. Of course in an ideal world we'd not have made these mistakes but it's where we are now and fans should have a bit of patience that it's not easy to eradicate the mistakes and will take time. It looks like the club are trying to remedy the situation and perhaps we should have a bit of faith in Sparky and the boys.
Oops. Same dummies who said Pelle was **** and then later that he was the greatest. Same dummies that were saying 3 at the back and are now calling for 4 at the back. No trolls on here, no siree...
Last year people were moaning on and on about switching to a back 3 and playing 2 up top. Now we are actually doing it everyone wants a flat 4 and 1 striker.
