What sickens me was that the West Ham game was as close to a gimme as we will ever get. Caroll out, Lanzini out, Collins out, Hernandez out. Antonio injured. Fans protesting etc. We bottled that game in such a big way that it left even the most bitterly pessimistic Saints fans surprised. Do we have any fight left in us?

****ing typical. They seem like Saints but with better players. Frustrating to watch for sure.

Shocking isn’t it. Spoiled brats. Never forget their indifference at (only) winning the 2003 FA Cup.

I’ve watched a few of our rivals lately and the worrying thing is that none of them look as bad as us right now. This might be some sort of bias but worrying nonetheless.

Or these Stoke players remember the plan. Our players are too thick to follow a plan.

Blank team sheet on the wall. Told that every place is up for grabs and attitude and commitment in trying this week will decide who starts. Too many just walk into the team having done nothing to justify a place. If the first 11 are all under 23s, then so be it. Migh5 shake them up a bit knowing they have to work harder and play better.

After today’s capitulation it’s straw clutching time. Maybe Arsenal will have their eyes on their Europa tie. Maybe one of the other big teams has an off day or with City guaranteed the title they have their minds on the beach. Maybe our blind squirrel will find a nut. Fat chance!

32 minutes in, City with 84% possession. Everton trying to out stink us.

I know eh. We had a few glimmers of hope with the performances vs City and Arsenal and to some extent Utd, but now we are just terrible. The games vs Newcastle and West Ham are two of the worst performances I’ve ever seen from a Saints team, in 38 years of supporting them.

I don’t even see us scoring. Just can’t see where it can come from or how we’ll manage it.

Two very tidy goals too. Good off the ball running, nice shape, awareness and precision. Gutting to be honest. He knew our limitations but arrogant Les wouldn’t listen.

Watched the goal replays, our players look like fat kids made to do cross country. Horribly unfit. Shocking.

Puel’s boys with a late winner vs BHA. Maybe he could see the limited ability of our squad and kept the back 6 well drilled as a result.

That comes from a shocking lack of fitness.

Hughsie needs to hold up a blank sheet of paper and say, “this is the teamsheet for Arsenal”, you have to earn your way into it during the week. Then ****ing stick to it and put in hard working reserves if need be. Too many of this shower know they can walk into the team with no effort and then walk during the game. Disgraceful.
