How many is it without a win now?

Remember that in order to "lose points" from 85th onwards you need to have been winning or tying at the time (hence why QPR for example have 0 dropped, they have either been losing and lost or were winning and won). We lost 3 points of that 7 to Man U as we were winning in 84th min and ended up losing...

Just had a quick look at this season so far, and here is points lost from 85th minute onwards: Spurs 8 Saints 7 Chelsea 7 Fulham 7 Everton 6 Villa 5 WBA 5 Newcastle 4 Sunderland 3 Stoke 3 Reading 2 Wigan 2 Man U 2 Man C 1 Arsenal 1 No points dropped in LAST 5+ by QPR, Liverpool, Swansea, West Ham or Norwich.

Many goals are scored in that 85 - 95 minute segment when players are tired and make mistakes. Take a look at any week in the Prem and it happens to all the teams at some point, it just feels like it is us all the time as we follow so Saints closely.

Sunderland away, right in front of us. Dean Richards had scored the equaliser at 2-2 only moments before that...

Careful, we laugh at p*mpey and Henry saying it was the best atmosphere etc...

Good performance and 0 points means jack it we get turned over on Saturday...

So we now need a goal or two from Man Citeh, Swansea and an equaliser from Villa for a perfect night??

Just seen the clip, looks pretty tame to be honest, he wants the ball, the boy tries to keep it, he dinks it out and steps over him, no way he is hurt. Still, shouldn't have touched him, he should have known what would happen though...

....anybody remember what the senior players had to say when we let Chris Nichol go and brought in Ian Branfoot...

Watching W Ham vs QPR. W Ham horrendous. Missed 2 sitters and then went behind, done nothing but hoof it to Chamakh since and he just falls over when the ball arrives...

Perhaps the plan was to bring him in knowing that we'd likely only get 1-3 points out of those three anyway. Would have been worse if we had a bunch of winnable games thrown away while he learns the ropes. I am not happy at this appointment, but I am still a Saints fan. He is under enormous pressure, even more than Nige I would think. **** this up and his career is in tatters.

I was one of the ones who said, "who?" when we signed Adkins, but he has done a fantastic job. Probably the most enjoyable spell that I have had as a Saints fan and I started supporting them in 1981. Going to be gutted when he takes some other club to a better position than us. Got a feeling that in 5 years Saints will regret this decision.

Gutted, not excited about Saints now. Hope this works out for Saints. I will never forget how we canned Nichol as he had "taken as far as he could" and brought in Branfoot to "take us to the next level"...

True that. Having just watched the EPL highlights show they put on here, it was really noticeable the way the likes of Man U, City, Spurs, Chelsea and to some extent Arsenal move the ball around with such quick incisive passing in the final third. Sad to say they make Saints look really slow and predictable. I just wish the likes of Puncheon, Lallana (when fit) and Gaston would take less time on the ball and either pass it off into space or take a potshot at goal. Loads of goals scored from outside the 18 in this weeks show, and often our boys get into a great position to shoot but dwell on it and get crowded off the ball.

And yet when we were L1 you did nothing but complain and say Bournemouth were the team we should aspire to be... When we were Champ everything was done wrong in the off-season and we should worry about the ominous charges of Birmingham and Boro... I am glad you aren't making the decisions at Saints... And now we have done everything wrong in the off-season again...

Saw the replay was a blatant dive. Still we have had so many stone-wallers turned down this season...

Really scrappy, we are not quick enough to get into space and passing really sloppy at times. A brighter note is that Turkish looks awesome in that 'stashe and Frenchman outfit!

It feels like it is just us, but ages ago I took a look at late goals conceded and we actually scored more late ones than we conceded over a 10 year period in the Prem. Moreover, clubs in a similar position (and even some better ones) concede a lot in these time periods too. We just feel that it is only us as we are only emotionally invested in Saints and don't really notice other teams as much.

Can't listen to those commentators for another minute, they seem desperate to get on the field ans suck chelsea dik...
