All points DO count the same, but surely if we had taken 3 off Reading and zero against Coventry we would gave won the league with the same points total that we ended up with to get 2nd in the end...

Good response from Saints since the goal...

It's something the body does when you lose a limb like that, it goes into shock and the arteries clamp themselves shut to prevent grievous blood loss. Then let us explain it again for you and the thicky triplets. The statistical probability of 6 teams passing us with 5 games to go is virtually zero. Because some of the final games involve teams below us playing each other, it makes it impossible for all those teams to "win out" the season. Look how difficult it was to climb the table when we were behind. Relax Dalek, go play with your yoyo or something...

A Brentford fan saying how the pitch invasion was not thuggish but the supporters celebrating the takeover. Now just where have we heard/read that before...hmmmm

In fairness Dalek was half right about the yo-yo strategy, except that it was the Saints manager that is going to yo but not the team, whether he completes the second yo is up for debate.

A bit unlucky. They defended well, we passed it around nicely. Should have won. Carrol miss-hit that free kick, and got a lucky deflection. Gaston has to not take any more dead balls, I can deliver a better set piece than him, and that is saying something. Overall a bit meh, but a point is good I guess.

If there was a time that Gaston should have dived, that was it, defender was all over the top of him. By dive I don't mean dive, just the ol' Linekeresque flop and leg kick...
