Make no mistake, Lowe and Wilde losing all the money they have tied in Saints is merely looking on the bright side.
-
You were asking for Lowe quotes the other day. Perhaps these gems could go in your next book: We are fortunate that, as a result of the long term Academy plan, we have been able to mould a team of young, dedicated and technically able players, many of whom had been previously overlooked for first team selection. "Together with some limited, but astute, signings, Jan Poortvliet and his staff have worked to play an attacking brand of Dutch football that makes the most of the technical abilities which the players were taught by Georges Prost and Stewart Henderson as they progressed through the Academy. "The prevailing view amongst the English football establishment was that we would struggle to win any games playing with such a young team. "We have disproved this theory by playing some very entertaining football and whilst at the time of writing we have obtained 16 points from 17 games, we are confident that we will become stronger as the season progresses. "We are proud that our team usually includes a very high percentage of Academy players who are British, some of whom are already being recognised by their national teams. "This gives us a very good foundation upon which to build and benefit from the talents of our entire squad. "We are under no illusion that our progress can be taken for granted and there will, undoubtedly, be some “ups and downs.” "Building the foundation was always going to be the hardest part but we have achieved this. "People are now beginning to sit up and take notice of our achievements under Jan Poortvliet, which has brought praise from many quarters. "Our recent match against Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers is a prime example with their experienced striker Chris Iwelumo stating after the match that Saints were one of the best footballing sides he had come across in the division this season, and consequently one of the most attractive to watch.

Such is life.

To put it bluntly i don't care. Any business that has not demanded cash on delivery at SFC only have themselves to blame. Also we're going into League 1 anyway which will results in lower gates and therefore admin anyway - better to take the points hit NOW rather than guarentee we get relegated to league 2 next season which is what will happen with a 10 point deduction.
-
In your opinion. I don't share it though.
-
Are you basing this on opinion or precedent?

Poor old Mike does have a bit of the Les Dawsons about him.

Le Tissier suspects we'll be relegated before last game of season

Maybe, it'd be nice to see him back one day though. It's the least SFC as a club owes him for being a legend. -
I can't ****ing wait for the club to go into admin. To see Lowe and Wilde lose their investment will be very amusing.

Once we get rid of Lowe and Slithery Wilde i'd love to see Le Tiss brought back in some capacity like club president. -
I'll reserve judgement on the Echo finally representing their readers.
-
Everyone who is not going to renew email the Echo and tell them too.
-
We need to get orgainised on this one. We need a standard letter that everyone can print out/copy and paste and then send it to the Club and the Echo.
-
And no Lowe plants either.
-
The pressure needs keeping up. What is really needed is a facebook page where people can sign up to boycott.
-
All the signs are that Lowe and Wilde will take no notice whatsoever of any protests. I'm not saying these protests should stop because they serve the purpose of keeping us united in wanting Lowe/Wilde out, but they are inefective on their own. The idea of a Walkaway protest is good in principle, but in practice it won't attract a large enough participation for it to be really effective. What is needed is for those who want Lowe Out to rip up their season ticket/membership renewal forms when they come through the post and hold onto the money until Lowe and Wilde are gone. March Madness is only a month away so the opportunity is there to let Lowe know how you feel in the only language he understands.
-
It must be true then.

Maybe the Chelsea OS have an article about Wotte.

Little bowls of pot pouri and smelly candles might help though.
