  1. Thanks for the advice.:smt033
  2. It is becoming a tad tedious all this mocking of those supposedly not ITK.
  3. LOL dumbo, if you're going to pull me up on spelling (yeah it was wrong) at least try and post your sarky comment so it makes sense.
  4. I'm with Ford on this one. If they can produce cars or vans cheaper abroad than they should move production abroad. It's a simple matter of economics.
  5. One of Lowes cronies i would think.
  6. I read the filename you gave it on your PC - "Rupert".
  7. You must really love Lowe, your blind support really is astonishing.
  8. Is this a cryptic clue? Indiana as in Jones, Jones as in David Jones. Or am i barking up the wrong tree or maybe just barking?
  9. I agree with a lot of what you say, but how do you know Barclays aren't happy?
  10. Last season i took my aussie cousin to a couple of games as he was over visiting. Australians are several years behind (or you could argue ahead of) Britain with their mannerisms. I don't mean this in an offensive way as my cousin is a right ****head and we had a right laugh, but little things like clapping the away sides goals is not seen much nowadays.
  11. It would be novel if the forum ran elections for a monthly scholar member. We could then nominate candidates for a free years membership and vote on the nominations. This would generate interest and the cost of giving away a £5 a month membership would be ofset by the interest created.
  12. Oh the irony. You are stereotyping me because my innocent little golly, yet think it's wrong to stereotype hooligans by the clothes they where. Oh dear.
  13. A mongrel.
  14. 16,800. It would have been more like 18,000 if it wasn't on SKY though.
  15. Wasn't there an occurence when 'our lot' went on the rampage in West Broms equivalent of a "Brewers Fayre" not so long back?
  16. Or perhaps your 'flint' shirt was a bit outdated.:smt102
  17. You make a reasonable point but it has flaws. Prevention is a far better approach than cure. If the police can pre-empt public disorder and stop it from happeing in the first place it's preferable to them wading in to break up fights. This is not as feasible with punch ups at closing times as these are spontanious and less tribal. They also happen late at night when more vulnerable people are not about, therefore making the consequences to innocent groups such as children and pensioners less of a factor. Football hooligans, on the other hand, are thugs who organise themselves to have fights, i.e they are not so much spontaneous. For this reason football intelligence can play a part which enables police to be proactive in such situations as oposed to the reactionary response they emply at late night brawls. The police also have to factor in that there will be children and pensioners about - vulnerable people - and therefore they must exercise greater force to protect these people.
  18. Talk about taking my rather well constructed argument out of context. In a way i'm pleased you can't respond properly as it shows i've won the argument and you've lost.
  19. ...and on the bench they celebrate and with that goal he wins for himself a car and he said he'd already booked driving lessons.
  20. What a silly post Wes. Let me put it another way. There's a plane with 700 passengers. 630 are old grannys with blue rinses and 70 passengers are asian looking with beards. Do you strip search 60 grannys and 10 asians to be politically correct or do you concentrate on the asians who tick the boxes of those more likely to be suicide bombers? At the end of the day the Police are there to protect the majority and when there is a threat they should naturally single out those who show the charateristics of the people they suspect could be a problem.
  21. No way will we get back to 22,000 average gates this season. I think 16,000 average is a realistic target though.
  22. Are you seriously saying people were locked up for no reason at all?
  23. Because a small minority of feral louts like to spoil things for the law abiding majority. As far am i'm concerned the human rights act needs scrapping and the police given more powers to use their initiative. The Human rights Act was also used to comlain against Asian looking people being singled out at airport security checks when it's bloody obvious Asian looking people are the ones who should be watched more closely in these times. Likewise those dressed in Stone Island etc should be subjected to more stop and searches - it's common sense.
