We had two years of parachute money and we all knew that unless we went up during this window we'd been down for the long haul. The first year of the parachute payments was a wasted year. Lowe spent a pawltry £90,000 in that first season and we blew that chance. This left us with just year two to put all our eggs in one basket and go for it and we all know what happened. Lowe not only relegated us, but his negative approach in year one in the CCC saw to it that we squandered our best chance to bounce back.

Don't get me wrong i'm no Wilde fan, but fairs fair and it'd be wrong not to point this out.
-
No it doesn't. It's common for the Companies House page to show accounts being overdue when they aren't. I would certainly be cautious of trusting the info.

On the issue of the stadium why can't the city council buy it and rent it back to us? The Keepmoat at Doncaster was built by the city council and is rented to DRFC.

I'd be much more interested on your views about longshots "revelations" than drivel tbf.

I think that was Scudamores intention.

1. Can't be arsed to argue with you on this point. 2. We invested, but only in sqaud players. Lowes rigid wage structure ensured we'd never progress. We needed a couple of good players and got half a dozen mediocre players. It was a false economy and one that contributed greatly to our relegation.

Are you sure about these statements? And if so is this linked to the performance of Wildes other business interests? Leaving that aside i'm not sure who would buy Wildes shares - even at a knock down price for two reasons: 1) An existing major shareholder is capped as to amount they can own without being forced to takeover the club (takeover the debt in other words). 2) The club is heading for administration anyway so why buy the shares at all when they will soon be worthless. As far as i can see it the only option for any of the major shareholders is to give their shares away or mount a full takeover and take on the debt. I cannot see any possibility of anyone risking their homes and other assets by buying into such a dangerous venture and likewise i can't see anyone taking on the debt even if the shares are given away. SISU were our last chance IMO, i can't even see another hedge fund wanting to take on such a risky investment now that the economy has gone tits up. Unfortunately i see no hope for the club apart from going through the pain of administration and building again from scratch - probably via League 2.

The cup run was all down to us getting easy draws with an average squad playing above it's abilities because it was fit. Lowe then failed to invest when the sun was shining. Then we had 3 managers in one season and went down.

Jonathon Ross is a *****. If this gets him off TV then it's worth it.

JP is a nice bloke, but as Brian connely would say "It's a puppet".

Lowe would never put money into SFC, his only desire is take money out. As for Wilde i doubt he's as flush as he once was and is therefore unable to put money in even if he wanted to.

I understand it costs a lot to run the forum and you wish to encourage people to part with £5 - fair enough, but there will always be those who are content with 3 posts a day. Because so few people are full members, and only full members can vote in polls, the polls on here carry even less weight than previously. This dimishes their worth considerably. Any chance of making polls open to registered users to give them more credibilty to benefit of all?

Ha Ha, you tease. Sundance was banned a couple of days ago. Here he is. http://www.b-anter.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=4150&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=

Time for some detective work me thinks. Can anyone tell which is his house on this map? http://www.aboutmyplace.co.uk/showmap?id=20672762&type=property&poi=property

Lowe cannot work as a team. It's pointless even discussing a coalition of unity. Lowe Out.
-
I don't think we've heard the last of Leon Crouch, but i cannot see him wanting to be in the same room as Wilde, let alone allied to him again. My opinion is that Leon will now play a waiting game and once the club goes into administration he will make his move.
-
I think this is true. Both parties are a bit crack-pot with David Cameron stating UKIP is the party for closet racists.
-
Boycott the club programme.
-
Confirmation of what we've always known. LOWE PICKS THE TEAM. Our club is a ****ing joke. LOWE OUT
-
My thoughts go out to Paulas family at this sad time.
-
I doubt it was the plan, but it's the obvious thing Lowe will do.

We deserved the win on the night, but it wasn't to be. I know it's early days but on another thread we were looking at the next 5 games and of those this was the "easy" one on paper. In a months time it's likely we'll be adrift of the pack which will emphasise that tonight was a must win in the relegation fight.
