League 1 is like the Premiership for the noddy clubs that have spent their entire history yo yo ing between the conference, L2 and L1. For teams like Bournemouth it's their shangrila.
-
Yes, it's all rather surreal. And it won't last.
-
I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure GM wouldn't like it if someone put up a link to the Bursledon Parish Council website.
-
This is very good news on paper. Let's hope the bid is sucessful.

Crap football, noddy clubs, and noddy fans.

Cheers Nick and Trousers. Had a brief look at it seems OK to me, boring finance stuff, but OK. I would advise them to spell "dialogue" correctly though. American dumbing down of the English language is a pet hate of mine.

Has anyone got a link to the pinacle site please?

To be honest you don't want to be spending big on L1 standard players. If it was down to me i'd think short term and get some hardened bruisers in on loan or short term contracts. That way you're not saddled with cack if you go up and you can then build again. Lowe's youth only policy doesn't work and i'd hope they'd have learnt from the idiots example of what not to do.

Perhaps we should link up with pompey. With our saintly connections and their cresent moon of Islam we'd have all bases covered.

It was posted on the thread about Jacko following numerous posts saying how **** having Jacko making a bid was. It was clearly a rebutal of NickG's opening post. Or are you are implying that Weston chose his words carefully to deceive whilst telling the truth?

On the original Jacko thread

I'd say their records are 50/50 at best (maybe NickG has a better strike rate but he's not so forward with ITK prophesising). There's a lot of ITK's who think they are gods gift to ITKing and of sound judgement, but this is their achiles heel, because they are the ones most profitable for exploitation.
-
I stopped taking any notice of ITK's a long time ago. They mean well but most of the time they talk out of their arses.
-
I disagree with you, Jackson would be more clueless than the majority of posters on this forum. I think he's just performing this exercise to try to weedle his way in with a rival bid (they offer him a role if he agrees to pull out) but i don't think he's even got the brains to serve refreshments on the concourses.

All politicians are as bad as ech other hence why none of the parties wanted to reveal the details. They only did it because they had no choice due to press/public pressure.

The biggest losers are the ordinary hard working fans of SFC. We've had passionate fans that have gone out of their way to give donations to the club and Marc Jacksons involvement is just burning this money. One way of looking at is that all the money donated to the bucket collection is paying for Jacksons timewasting. This poor family have busted a gut to help SFC, is this fair on them?

The Millbrook locals getting behind SFC.

The problem is that most (not all) of the ITK's aren't very bright and get so carried away with feeling important that they are a dream for people like Jacko to exploit. All they need (and want) is a slow drip feeding of ******** and they've suceeded in their objectives. I must admit i don't like the "i know something you don't know" nature of the ITK's. They plant a seed and then announce "i will not be posting anymore on this thread" for example. What is that all about? Talk about smug, yet the majority on here hang on their every word, cult ITK status is achieved, and Jacko and his ilk get what they wanted. And the sad thing is these ITK's are so consumed with feeling all important they don't even realise they've been played like a fiddle.
-
What i said is true, and Jacko knows it too. There's a little group of fans that aren't content with hearing news through the proper channels who go out of their way to grovel up to the likes of LLS as being ITK twangs their egos. And past events show they are gullible in the extreme - blinded by a desire to feel important.
-
We'd be better off without them.

In case you missed it. According to companies house Trican Sports and Leisure was disolved on the 5th of May 2009.
