  1. Not compared to the one about goal times
  2. Well yes but compared to our lady with the FA cup strapped onto her head.........
  3. Looking at the table I'd be amazed if anyone gets into the play-offs with much less than 80 points.I just can't see anyone going into a tailspin and not getting at least 28 points from their remaining games.
  4. Fonté and Seabourne would haved laughed Skate's attack off the pitch today.
  5. cos Wilson isn't a premier quality defender that's for sure.
  6. Once again I'm sure he knows perfectly well how to strike a ball,he's probably not quick enough in his analysis of the situation though and it's that that lets him down.Like Papa, on his second chance there were two options, heading it or a scissors kick, so he tries to control it and just lobs it to James.Mercurial mental process is what makes great strikers.
  7. Have you not noticed, midfied players aren't allowed to take set pieces at Saints. James took them when he was playing full back, then it was Mills, now it's Lambert. I just guess that AP doesn't want his midfielders out of the game if we get hit on the break. It's a strange decision, I'm sure that they all know perfectly well how to take corners and free-kicks. It's about the system rather than incompetence at the task.Lallana brings nothing to the aerial threat from set pieces,he still doesn't take them though, although he knows perfectly well how to.
  8. that's what happened, Jaidi,Thomas and Hammond were all in their box and we gave the ball away, two gift goals really.
  9. must say that I didn't really notice O'Hara apart from his long range effort that Kelvin had to tip over the bar.Pompey's threat came from Belhadj getting forward and giving Thomas a hard time.Plus when you're using a static right back like Thomas you get nothing from him on the attacking side. But we played well and should have won, if we'd have had Connolly instead of Lallana we would have.
  10. So are we all no doubt, but our lack of clinical finishing really lets us down time after time and not just this season, it's been going on for 4 or 5 years now.
  11. We shall see, the premier league are asking them to take administration,Chainrai doesn't want to lose his money.
  12. No we controlled midfield, we got hit on the break because our static central defenders had gone forward and the corners, free kicks or long throws (whatever it was) were gifted to them to hit us on the break. But the problem is we could have been 4-0 ahead at the break. We were great first half but as we didn't put our chances away we were always going to pay for the effort necessary to create them.
  13. What do you expect, with our regular back 4 we'd have been Ok. Perhaps Fonté would even have put away the cross that James missed and Jaidi put over the bar, just needed to drop to one knee and nod it in.
  14. He will have learnt that he isn't good enough for the Premier League because he can't convert simple chances. Lambert will have a lot of phone call this week though,
  15. There will be no sanctions, they'll take administration and a Premier League hand-out.
  16. Nah, if Papa and Lallana had taken the first half chances Skate were dead and buried.
  17. Probably no worse than the school playground obscenity wise.
  18. Nah, we didn't need a replay, it was either win or lose today...we lost. Pity we haven't got a midweek catch up game.
  19. won't even notice it, Pompey is an unpleasant place to be all the time
  20. Owusu Abeiye showed him how to do it, hope he was watching.
  21. He should have put the header away, not that he didn't do well to get there mind you, but the actual header was a bit naif.
  22. good game;we missed 3 do-able chances and then paid the price.
  23. no that's the team, it's up on the BBC site.
  24. Pompey's team looks strange though, have they actually got any central defenders,Hreidarsson,Belhadj,O'Hara,Mullins what sort of back 4 is that?
  25. at 6 30 am? that's sort of Charlie Harper behaviour.
