it does seem that the Exeter result has had a bad effect on morale all round. seemed to be saying that the players aren't (as yet) up for either of this week's matches.

Well yes 6 was under the West Stand stood on a stool at the front, best view in town Even the old dockers cut down on the 4 letter words for the kids in those days, not so much but a bit anyway. I learnt what f*ck meant after hearing it a lot under the West Stand.

I used to go into the Milton all by my self (well with my hard mates from 1A2 at Tauntons) from about 12 onwards,aggro was just an occupational hazard.No-one looked for it but no-one ran away from it either, same as the school playground or Bitterne Park rec.

i'd go Gillett instead of James. Don't rate James in CM at all, too slow in every department. In fact I'd prefer Wotton to James,; at least some little wimp isn't going to get past him without serious collateral damage.

You're wrong OSM, nothing would give me more pleasure than to see our current set up getting realistic results every week. But I just can't help feeling that with the squad we have we could do so so so much better. Something isn't right, the players don't look sharp, they're not at 100% of their ability although their effort probably can't be faulted.I see chances going begging and yet the midfield gets the blame and that's not right.If there are chances they need to be put away. Prost never coached the first team, it's not what he does. He prepares young players to be the finished article the instant the first team manager has need of them. I bet Morgan talks to him on the phone..a lot.

I really don't see it as an ultimatum, NC wants better results, he's probably been telling the players and staff that for a couple of weeks,now he's gone public. Being forthright and saying what you think isn't one of the world's worst afflictions it's just gone out of fashion that's all.Some of football's great leaders and managers never thought twice about saying what they needed to say.

Not really back to square 1. We have some really really exceptional players for our league, that they're not sweeping all before them is a commentary on how they're being used.On our day we can beat the best, it's just that we can't do it at Exeter or Brentford. I think we may just need a new manager before we really see the true ability of our squad on a weekly basis, either that or the same manager with better,more modern coaches.As I've said elsewhere I'm not at all sure that the ability of the players hasn't surpassed the ability of the coaching staff.

As long as they turn up with at least 11 players on Saturday so that we can shaft them I really don't give a toss what else happens.I'm not obsessed with PFC,just beating them one more time.In fact it would be a warning to all other investors" do it right or don't do it at all".Anyway someone will bail them out, plenty of dirty money that needs laundering around .

And yet everybody blames the midfield for not creating enough, from the little I've seen and my spy in the crowd cousin it's the strike force that's at fault not the midfield, they're getting the ball to the front men in space in front of goal, that we can't expect a 20 odd goal striker to stick an easy one away from 12 yards isn't the midfield's fault.If the midfield have to create 20 or so open goals for us to take 2 of them then we'd better hope that ML will buy us Ronaldhino,Gattuso and Kaka next summer.
