not for me, wish it was...every time Merrington speaks would be just fine. -

Puncheon not sounding too happy either, maybe the 'hole' role doesn't suit him, yet. -

that is a good looking side, wish I was at Exeter to see it.

but the 3 stripes might just breach trade mark regulations. They're pretty snotty about anything with 3 stripes down at Ad....

C A River Plate right? Always have used the historic shirt, away version is black with the same sash.

Why do you single Schneiderlin out for his "disciplinary record" He's had 5 yellows out of an allowed 10, he got sent off by a pillock of a ref and his ban was rescinded although he'd served 1 match already.Plenty of players (including some of ours) have worse records, hard tackling midfielders will get cards, Puncheon has already had 7 yellows and a straight red for instance. Danns also has 5 yellows, normal in February really.

There are a lot of very poor sides and a lot of poor but vastly overpaid players in the Premier League, the football is slow and staid and any lower league side with a bit of oomph can take advantage of the time and space the average Premier side will allow them.
-
depends what the job is really, certainly nothing on th playing side. Commentary how about that, nothing could be worse than the incessant drivel from Merrington.
-
I'm not sure the CM needed strengthening anyway. We have 3 good players to play there. What needed doing was giving them outlets for the creativity that they doubtlessly have. With Puncheon and the rejuvenated Holmes perhaps we've found what we needed.Lallana needs to buck his ideas up a bit though as I am sure he will.

only to Doncaster though and since they've signed Much on loan for a month doubt if they'll take Gillett again, unless they get injuries.
-
because the enlightened few managed to convince some forumists that NO MORE didn't really mean no more.
-
What about Stock ;)
-
Moses is going to Wigan for not all that much money.
-
I suspect it's palace putting it about to drum up interest, just like Doncaster did with Stock.
-
yes he did, he said a categoric no when asked if there were any more signings. I heard him, posted it on the match reaction thread. I listen to Player version, there was no bullcrap, he gave a straight answer NO.
-
I looked at the interview again, no meant no as far as I can grasp, perhaps I"m just too trusting.
-
I never condone lying for whatever reason, he could have just evaded the question.
-
So what you are saying Pat is that Pardew blatantly lied to the listening public on Saturday evening? or that he doesn't really know what is going on? or that we made a bid for a player we have no intention of signing? Can't work it out myself.
-
He's not underperforming now, but he did at the start of the season. I'm sure that it was made aware to him.I heard (and only heard, have no evidence mind you) that after the defeat against Bristol Rovers there was a major set to between the management and the coaching staff.Arses were kicked very hard apparently.
-
Well not all of them anyway, although our for our first game of the season we had only 2 new players on the match sheet. To me,and I'm sorry to keep on harping on about this, our biggest mistake was to start with Perry and Thomas at the back and to rely on the nucleus of strikers that couldn't score a goal against a tyro league side last season. When you have "international strikers" at your disposal you expect them to score in League 1, AP fell into this trap.Mind you if he'd scanned a few of last seasons match reaction threads he'd have been immediately much wiser about it.Also the crass substitutions at Huddersfield.
