  1. 19/20K apparently, according to Ipswich commentators.
  2. I'm having to listen to the Ipswich stream, my PC won't connect to whispering dave et al.today. Not bad at all, fans really loud, commentator fairly eloquent.
  3. Assist Home fans apparently, wanted him to shoot.
  4. Who cares, sh*t club,sh*t fans deserve everything that come their way.
  5. I'd give Gobern a go for the Cup game, see where he is just now.
  6. Well half of it isn't really even League 1 standard.Although if I were running the club I'd be tempted to ask Gillett (or Doncaster) where they are with that move and if it's going nowhere get him back here for the 2 league games that Morgan (and Hammond) will miss.I do not believe in tarting about.
  7. Jaidi at the back with Perry then,Harding (or Mills) LB, Thomas at RB, James in midfield with Wotton,Lallana,Gobern and Antonio (I suppose) Rickie on his tod in attack
  8. takes penalties (4 or 5 this season) but then so does Ricky. Seems to score a lot of really late goals, always useful that, shows he motors on for 90+ minutes.
  9. Jackie Charlton's black book eh??
  10. It's all bollix anyway. refereeing has become totally random and not one of them goes through a game without making one single mistake. Still I expect this little knob will be able to say "I sent him off once" when Morgan is playing in a world cup final. It's no good footballers becoming more and more skilled and finely tuned when the bollok in black ballses up about 1 decision in 4
  11. doesn't much matter. Ipswich isn't important and Brentford and Stockport can be handled with what we have available.
  12. Wimbledon is a long way from MK- fact
  13. But O Driscoll actually accuses the press of making erroneous and unfounded calculations with the object of selling papers. So you should complain personally to him as well. Perhaps he's on Facebook
  14. We should take it, the glue is probably worth more than Wotton.
  15. But if you read what O'Driscoll says he refers to APs statement on saturday. He uses 'I believe Alan said he felt that Doncaster's valuation would not match ours" and continues to deny any contact at all. It's all quite clear on the DRFC OS.There is no ambiguity, no approach, no offer, no nothing. Now if that isn't the case O Driscoll will look a right tit.
  16. I thought that Danns bloke sounded better to be honest. Scores more goals from open play I think (Stock takes penalties).
  17. Doesn't matter, he's a "local" and they're all very excited about him. He's probably pretty average otherwise he wouldn't still be playing for Doncaster Rovers, still never mind he's on facebook.
  18. and he was also the first of many "right man for the job" We could have got Moyes but he wanted things like a salary higher than the average job seekers allowance and his own assistants. When you consider the money wasted on the Ecudorian duo, paying off Gray and the useless Wadsworth and a few quid over the top for Delap, I guess Moyes would have been quite economical. I said at the time on a well known mailing list that Lowe's attitude was a danger to the survival of SFC, of course I got a right royal slagging off from most of the other 800 or so members.
  19. Do you actually know what erudite means? It means someone who knows a whole lot about a whole lot of things . So how erudite and meathead can be coupled in the same phrase I just don't know. Leave you all to your argument now.....
  20. How would you explain Huddersfield away then? Taking of James and Morgan and replacing them with Mellis and Thomson at 54 minutes thus making a powder puff midfield for Huddersfield to stroll through.Pardew threw a point away there
  21. I wouldn't mind us having a look at Gillett in the middle instead of Wotton. He can't be much worse really.Even if we lose 1-O we can make it up in the home leg. We have just got to look at Gillett sooner or later to see if we're missing anything.
  22. still wouldn't be the first manager to have players sold behind his back would he.
  23. No to be honest playing Thomson and Lancashire was just asking for trouble. He chopped and changed all the time. One week Saga started up front, the next it was Rasiak, then Patterson, gave no-one time to settle in.They weren't interesting to him and he tarted about regally with them.He obviously wanted nothing to do with Gillett so apart from a few minutes as a sub he complete ignored him, even gave Pulis a few minutes instead.
  24. classic example Glen Johnson to Skates,he's been sold on since and they still owe money to the club they bought him from.We owed money to Notts County for McGoldrick even though he'd been here for a few years. It's all on the never never in football transfers.Plenty of "done deals" collapse because the selling club want paying straight away.
