Crouch has money,or so they say,why has he never tried to buy outright control? because he knows that withoutout Wilde and without Lowe (by that I mean his axis) it is unacheivalbe. The only way SISU could do it was by diluting the unknown holdings by a restricted rights issue, diluting the holdings of everybody else by creating new shares only accessible to themselves. Wilde obviously feared a similar manoeuvre at some time because when the famous 2 million was in question he stipulated that in the event of any rights issue those 2million would be converted into new shares owned by himself.

13th it was. Should have got a decent manager straight away, we knew he was going for long enough. But we cacked up, let Laurie Mac meddle in it,throw in a bit of nepotism and we appointed the Dreadful Duo,which got us into the lower realms of the table as if by magic. Then we got pearson who took a bit of time to get anything organised so we finished 21st more by luck than judgement and we could so easily be lording it over League 1 instead of Leicester today. Except that all those big earning hangers on would have taken a little cut in pay if it had meant not playing in the dreaded league 1,getting the shyte kicked out of them by apprentice blacksmiths and donkey farmers every week. We might have been just as well off actually.

Euell is out of it, he'll probably never play for us again. We might even loan him out and cover a part of his pay

I've read on the BBC today that the players wanted Brynn Gunn as their manager. That will end in tears, told you they would appoint a complete non-entity. He was a crap keeper, he'll be a crap manager-well just next tuesday for a start.

Would depend what the bond note holder had to say about it wouldn't it. If you want to sell your house in theory you have to pay up the mortgage before you do. Obviously your solicitor pays the outstanding balnce from the money he receives for it on completion day. This would probably be the same thing. Do not forget Wilde+Crouch=26.41% of the share issue. If that figure goes over 30% even in the context of a concert party then they have to bid for the entire share issue at the most elevated price paid for any of the shares, ie 65p,Crouch nearly dropped them in it first time round, that's why Wilde learned not to trust Crouch's "enthusiasm" and he got the reputation of bumbling loose cannon ."It is Paul Allen" in the Echo sure didn't help.

Yes of course we got some fine results, when James Beattie hit a hot streak because Fab was setting him up time and time again. However when they went off the boil,driving convictions not helping, then so did we. I know they both moved on, can't remember if it was before or after WGS left.One thing I would remark on the WGS era though is the **** poor number of young players from the academy making their way into the first team. Could be that I'm totally wrong on that, Bridge I know but it would seem that virtually everybody else was bought in, though as I say I could be completely wrong about that.Baird did well in the Cup Final, after that nothing.
