We are run by the wherethe****arewe tribe actually.

Campbell and Distin are Africans now? Mind what you say about Sol, he's very touchy. We did have Mettomo but he was crap. Can't generalise like that. We had Powell as well, he was also crap;

I don't really see what good "panicking" would bring to Wilde.

Haven't Reading sold off quite a lot of players then??

Perhaps our lads are overly impressed by being on TV and try to dazzle rather than graft. Grafting is the key to success in the CCC, it is strange that we tend to extemporise every time we're on TV, shooting from everywhere whether it's the right option or not, tricky dicky play everywhere.Full backs far too far forward etc. I hope Sky leave us well alone from now on.

In my opinion it is the difficulty in making the step up from the CCC, where there is little or no money to make,to the Premiership. It has been proved time and time again that you can't buy your way out of the CCC.I suppose this year's 'big spenders" would be Ipswich and QPR-and look where they are in the table. Plymouth are in the top 6,they've done nothing but sell for a year or so.

I don't think it's actually the value of houses that causes problem. It's the number of extra credits raised on them. On principal mortgages there can't be too much negative equity about at the moment, but from what understand it is fairly common practice to take extra loans against plus value whenever you feel like a new car or a couple of weeks in Malaysia.

McGoldrick self indulgence is our biggest problem.

Except that Pekhart and Robertson are only on loan. Can't really understand our loan policy, we take 3 forward players on loan and just the one defensive player. We take Gasmi although there doesn't seem to be any news on him actually playing.Pulis is a definite signing but hasn't made it into training yet. I'm not one of your pessimistic types but I don't quite see why we're taking so many attacking players on loan and just Cork on the defensive side (although he's playing in midfield now). If James is really as bad as some seem to think why didn't we take a replacement for him instead of Smith? -
All 3 will be offside

With 5 loaves and 2 small fish there would be plenty enough to feed our current crowd for several days.

Brian more likely.

Now that would be an extremely nasty drink, Pelforth Brown with Mint cordial in it.Can't understand this modern day craze of putting junk in your beer.If you don't like beer drink fizzy pop, don't put peach sirop or whatever in it, show some respect.:smt004:smt004:smt004

Yes, to frighten them into not taking the bananas to the picnic later on Tuesday. If a hostile burger came running down the road after you, you'd think twice about eating it wouldn't you. This applies to all things except women, you know they're going to beat up on you one way or another but you can't leave them well alone.

This is why "fans" should never have anything serious to do with the running of professional football clubs. Clouded judgement. The fans job is "fanning".

It's in the song, Tuesday's the day the Teddy Bears have their picnic. This of course has been transcribed over time to Today's the day etc. :smt017:smt017:smt017:smt017:smt017

No, it is historically established that the Teddy Bear's picnic was on a Tuesday.

Well we're supposed to get 10% aren't we, so I expect the fact that we just got 1024 initially means that we asked for that number with an option on the rest. You never know with us.

Initially being the operative adverb.

Indeed but it seems that many of our fellow fans re obsessed with this guy Skacel, didn't do much last season, wanted away at all cost, still does but they want to play him anyway. I do not see what they think he will bring to our young dynamic side.
-
the injury update is a bit odd, no mention of Thomas,Pullis or Gasmi but Poke who's a complete bit part player who was on loan to..... (fill in for 10 brownie points) gets a mention.Bizarre.
-
These Skacel fantasies are disquieting, we won well on tuesday, we'll play the same team, possibly Wotton in midfield in place of Pekhart, that's about it. Southampton shrinks should do cut price group therapy for raging Skacel obsession

What would you do if Mike Ashley bought Saints next?

You seem remarkably well informed of the situation Sambosa. -

Hopefully but I'm not so sure that it will happen in the foreseeable future. -

No they won't, not if they play like they did against Wigan anyway. Arsenal could crack, their side is good but their defeat by Hull left a lot of unanswered questions. As long as the elite 4 keep on getting to the later stages of the champions league the 4 places will be a closed shop.Mark Hughes doesn't have the talent to step up,Sven couldn't do it with a lot of money,he won't be able to with a bit more.To be competitive for the 4th place City need to spend 200 million plus the salaries that go with it/ Their gate revenue is nowhere near enough to finance it. There will probably be a narrow window of opportunity when Sir Alex jacks it in, top 4 candidates should be ready to step up, it won't be open for long.
