But in reality City and Liverpool will probably both win 3-0 after going ahead in the first 10-15 minutes and the day will be a total anti-climax. The PL need to programme some games between "big teams" in the last 2 rounds of fixtures. Liverpool derby, North London derby and Manchester derby on the last day would shake the bag up a bit.

But Bran sees the past and sometimes bits of the future. Surely seeing the what the future holds for Ings is just what's needed here.
-
So the quarters are on Thursday or Friday ?
-
Irks a bit that we have to give them about 2/3 of the price that they paid us for Mané for the insipid Ings. Didn't want him in the first place, certainly don't now. I'd certainly try to welsh on the deal if I could find a way.
-
Don't know about the pre-qualifying but if Arsenal should win the Europa Leage then we have 5 teams in the CL and only 2 in the Europa League. United plus either the cup winners (if not City) or the 7th placed team.

Amazing, April has come and gone and I don't think Hants have lost a single whole day to rain. Just a few overs for bad light on the first few days of the season and a bit of a rain delay once or twice.
-
A sure fire recipe for signing more garbage. If you want top players you pay whatever they ask. If you don't or can't you get to scrub around in the bargain basement with the results we've seen nigh on every season for about 6 years.

Forster was a good keeper until he got injured. Seems far less mobile now.
-
Really ? We've spent a lot of money since Gao bought the club, only trouble being that most of it was just simply wasted on crap.
-
Well then he sounds like a used car salesman trying to pass off an old banger as a "good little runner, one careful owner" to some poor mug.
-
Indeed, they didn't need to rush into that decision. Could have given it until the end of the season. Probably Old Sir Alex thinking he could get his hand back on the rudder by appointing one of his binkies. United need to get that old fogey completely out of their system. When they've done that they can start moving forward again.
-
And yet they survived last seson in the PL, finishing above us if I recall correctly.
-
Not a question of playing again really, a question of returning to the same pre-injury level. Doubt that we insure anyway, costs a fortune apparently. Forster used to be a really good keeper so seeing him as he now is is a bit sad.
-
Amazing, I mean who among the club's administrators actually thought that that would actually produce any sort of result. An act of the purest stupidity if that was the only reason. Plenty of good keepers knocking about available at about a fifth of Forster's salary. Bloke hasn't been the same since his knee injury, should have written him off then and got whatever we could from the insurance.
-
Didn't understand the line-up, still don't. What exactly was the reason for playing Forster?
-
Probably because they're all playing too many games for the number of quality players that they have available. I mean look at Spurs, they've even had to dig Janssen out of the dustbin. If you want to go to the later stages of the European Cups and still perform reasonably in the PL you probably need at least 30 decent players. With the 25 man squad rules probably means you probably need 6 or 7 quality youngsters.
-
Know very little about him, despite him being at PSG in his youth years. At 35 million he looks seriously overpriced to me.
-
Don't know if that's even possible in our day and age. Life was so much easier in '76 and your team winning the Cup was a big, big deal. Apparently even in John Lewis in town everything went silent and stood still for a few moments when Stokeser scored. Wouldn't happen today I'd doubt.
-
Gripping stuff. Watched most of the Sussex innings and I'd have to admit that I thought that we're maybe a heavy duty bowler short just now. Fuller certainly gives you the jitters when the opposition are hitting out.
-
Why would he not stay? He's got the side playing better on occasions but there have also been some awful results. Can't see any really "big" side wanting him as of yet.
-
See we got our annual drubbing at Chelmsford then. Never mind 4 out of 5 is good.
-
Batting at the Aegeas looks a bit tough this morning, 3 down already and scoring mainly in singles. Probably why they put us in after winning the toss.
-
Don't really see that happening. Don't really care either way though.
-
Fuller got some useful runs today after we lost a couple of quick wickets. Didn't bowl because the spinners ground them down. Donald probably just needs some time, hasn't played much these last 12 months or so.
-
Markram looks to be a decent emergency signing then. Solid with the bat, useful with the ball.
