Post Match Reaction: Sunderland 2-2 SAINTS
Window Cleaner replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Anyone noticed how hard to beat Sunderland are becoming ? Think they've lost once in 10 games in all competitions. They weren't very good in the first half but coming back straight away after going 2 down obviously boosted them. Then they made 2 good substitutions and got at us straight away in the second half. Not discontent with the result at all myself, perhaps I'm just easy to please though. -

i really don't think there'll be any money for transfers this window...none whatsoever, not even loan fees. -
he would have scored from there as well, ball on his left foot, just the keeper to beat.
-
Unfortunate and self inflicted, he went for the ball and jarred his leg against the striker's. Probably be OK for the Arsenal game. Gaston's looked like a broken ankle, that's what happens when a reckless thug plants his foot on your standing leg when you're trying to move it forward..
-
so as I said 38 points is enough to stay up, don't know why we're worrying about it anyway. The question should be how many we need to get 8th place.
-
As are many others. Refs just aren't up to the professional "cachoterie" of the players. Thugs like Brown know exactly how to hide their vicious tackles from refs. Only the video will ever stamp them out and we'll never ever get that.
-
38 same as always. Just need to win at home against Cardiff and Norwich and get a draw and we're already there. However being 8th would be good as well.

Wanyama can indeed play centre back, did often enough for Celtic but how he'd do at it in the rarefied atmosphere of the PL who knows. -

Yes but only marginally. The two young boys looked knackered towards 70 minutes and were less efficient. JRod runs his legs off every game and you can't expect him to be as useful after 90 minutes as he is at the start. Above all we need to sort out the problem with Lambert whatever that may be, played with 10 men again today. Pity Gaston got injured so soon, he was buzzing. Last of all I hope the FA look at Brown's assasination attempt and give him 5 or 6 games, he's just a thug, a throwback to another age. Pleased enough with the result. -
no he didn't, touching the ball is nothing if you follow through and plant your foot on the opponents ankle. Red card offence.

well yes but people have died before and their businesses have continued to run on unchanged, I thought Mme Katerina had undertaken to do that but up until last summer Cortese was still running the entire show with a Swiss Liquidator. Now all is gone apart from the holding company.
-
and then he gave most of his share back to his brothers and sister and started his own companies, most of which are now in liquidation...why that is no-one seems to be able to tell us.
-
but if you look closely you'll see that everyone of them bar 1 is in liquidation. Only the holding company remains and that's about buying and selling other companies. Mali Motan...gone, Mali Common Rail. gone....BSG ..gone now Clemens Richter BSG Mali Specialfahrzeuge...gone Just Saints and the holding company left.

I think basically to know where we are you'd need to go into all of the trials and tribulations of the Mali International Group because the answer lies there within. Something changed with all of that between August and October of last year. Unless you can get all of the facts and figures of the group as a whole you cannot possibly begin to understand the situation between the owner and Southampton FC. Is it just a simple case of end of probate, did Markus's will say that NC and the other chap have to administer everything until it was all done and dusted. No-one can possibly know that with some serious research into some obscure domains.
-
Why on earth would we want anything to do with that old dinosaur anyway, he's nigh on 80. football has changed, I'd very much doubt that he's changed with it. You only have to listen to the clueless Merrington to know how much the game has moved on, or watch a Fat Sam side getting slammed by City for that matter.
-
don't worry about it Viking, I once got disengaged (if that's the right term) because I went to the FA Cup semi in 1976 instead of a sister's wedding. Turned out OK for me though...she came back...and then left again to be sure over some other trifling misdemeanour on my part, my secretary might have had something to do with it, they usually did .
-
Maybe Katarina has better plans for the club than NC had

Although it could signal the end of probate, Mali enlarged their board then abouts, bankers and traders mostly it would seem. -
Although I'm not sure that it wasn't more to do with WBA going to 3 strikers away from home against a tiring side. They needed a point at least and went for it, we held them off and they got f*ck all. It's football. However we needed to be more efficient in front of goal when we dominated in the first hour or so, it's our main failing. Look at that volley that Rickie got all wrong, now Aguero or someone of his ilk would have just dropped to one side and sunk that with a sort of scissors kick. Rickie just doesn't have that sort of action in his kitbag so he got underneath it;..

Anyway good business men never buy anything much with their own money. I suspect that's the basis of stock markets and stuff, couldn't be sure though. We're in a good place right now, various people are to be thanked for putting us there but I'd as soon that all the current confusion reaches it's end soon enough. I won't even mind if we're sold unless it's to a whack job like Tan.
-
Anyway chaps of a respectable age do not have girlfriends, you brits should adopt compagnon or bonne amie. Kids have girlfriends.
-
Obviously you have no idea what you're talking about. The Mali Group is independant of the Liebherr group, ie nothing to do with it whatsoever. You are just getting confused as have no doubt many before you. This is exactly what I was just saying, confusion reigns in general over this. The Mali group consisted of 5 or 6 releatively small companies in various domains, it has nothing to do with the Liebherr main group.
