  1. You utter wag Bearsy ( that's wag not wang) .
  2. A very sensible suggestion, this thread should eventually be put into Golden Threads for future reference if necessary. It's all just words and wait and see for the time being as far as I'm concerned. I've heard it all before, sometimes it turned out better than others. I still remember Gray being the right man for the job.
  3. depends whether we all die of thirst or starvation before we run out of players really.
  4. Or the pies, weren't there complaints about the pies ?
  5. provided we spell his name correctly that is.
  6. hire town car affair, drives him round the shops in a limo. Little poser that he obviously is. http://www.gulliverslondon.co.uk/Our-Clients-g.html
  7. so what, cheap and cheerful, we need to get 3 for the price of 1.
  8. They don't look to be odd appointments at all, a germanophone appointing germanophones to tell tales and control the controlables. That was the crux of the issue wasn't it, control ?
  9. Barry the Briefcase dubious or just plain ordinary dubious ?
  10. And why not...well if Mauricio walks away for another job anyway.
  11. resigned at the same time as Nicola perhaps ??
  12. Once again it all sounds very wait and see although it seems to be an attempt to install a maximum of germanophones at SFC. The proof of the would be pudding will be in the would be eating.
  13. We shall just have to see what comes to pass if and when the bloke starts working with the players. I too thought we had all that sort of thing covered with the sports science people but obviously not.
  14. Since when did ready to transform into has ?
  15. As far as I can see she worked with the Mali group before but then seemed to stop for about 3 years and has only recently become a signatory to their accounts again...what's left of their "accounts" that is.
  16. Is not the CEO situation supposed to have been done and dusted since about lunchtime today ? # confused
  17. Until the summer at least.
  18. Spends half of his life shopping in London, don't we have any shops in Southampton any more.
  19. who was silly enough to believe that anyway. As many said, if we got the right offers then there might be sales.
  20. But even 3 years later everyone was pleased when he stepped down for Lawrie (not that i think he had much choice in the matter anyway) As the current parlance would say "he'd taken us as far as he could". Even when we got relegated no-one was whining about bringing him back (as they would be now) he was still Lawrie's assistant at the time and nothing would have been easier.
  21. was he in the Milton in 69 ?
  22. Not the Lallana that turned up last Saturday we aren't.
  23. Sam Allardyce ? Being sold to Venkys ? some pretty awful management ? I'd just as soon have a banker with little knowledge of football myself.
  24. Ooh you probably weren't around in about 69/70 but Ted Bates was not loved upon the Milton. It was always said that he only kept the job because his wife's money funded the club. How true that was I just can't remember, it was Milton talk anyway.
  25. well he obviously didn't sack them or any member of their families'. I'm convinced that most of the abhorrers are actually people sacked or made redundant by the club at some time or other, unless of course there are a few who've had their freebies truncated.
