The gulf between PL striking ability and NPC striking ability is huge. Remember Billy Sharp, Tadanari Lee and a host of other failures. Clueless as usual. Players like Didier Drogba would never ever dream of playing for a club not involved in European Competition in a WC year. We are untouchable to that category of player and will soon become untouchable to some of our actual players who have a bit of ambition. Lallana, Lovren, Shaw and Schneiderlin gone this summer, count on it.
