On the basis of Wolves and Bristol City

me too, and the goalie of course but as everyone else thinks Kelv will be adequate, then I guess that that's just me. -
To be honest if the actual owners aren't really interested I could see NC putting a consortium together to buy them out, doubt if it would change very much for the club though. Can't see NC going anywhere else at any time soon, wouldn't be surprised if he quite likes running a football club.

Well I think it's OK, seems easier to browse than the old one actually.Being a throw back to the age where computer screens were all black with either yellowy-orange,white or fluo green characters I have no problem whatsoever with that;;;why I even remember black and white television and crystal radios.

thinking on comparative results I noticed the other day that Bastia, who are no world beaters, beat Evian 4-0 in a warm up match. That set me wondering if we're an efficient striker short at the moment.

Great knock by McKenzie or so it would seem.

Well I'd imagine that 4 years in the council tip known as Glasgow would take a while to wear off.
-
; but that's just like us "thrashing" Sholing 4-0, Scottish football is worth nothing.

Out of interest what is the Japanese translation of "FFS Deano pass it to my feet not over my f*cking head"?

Tomb Raider addiction perhaps...that's what happened to Skatekeeper. -
nowhere near it, we paid about 4 million and 3 years salary for that totally useless pair of Ecuadorians. I am totally convinced that that deal was the root of all our past problems, that and appointing Gray and Wadsworth that is. That wonder package must have cost the club somewhere in the region of 8/9 million. 5 years for TF at 5K a week doesn't even come close.

they are certainly filling up their 25 man roster with some pretty solid signings. Feel that we do need to motor on with it a bit cos for me we'll have to rely on second string players who should be nowhere near a PL side at some time or other. -

I see they're signing Chris Gunter as well...seem to be doing a lot of business do Reading. -
We shall see, Scottish Law is strange sometimes.Like the "unproven" verdict in criminal cases.

A lot of people were saying that this time last year.Thing is, we just don't know how many more gears most of our current players have in the box. I thought that Lambert may not make the step up to the NPC but it took about 30 minutes for him to prove me wrong. Still think we need a new goalie though.

has he gotten married of late then ? last I heard his Korean singer girlfriend had blown him out.

A Norwegian lower league player has just been arrested for betting on fixed matches, could just be that Pandora's Box is about to be opened up there and Claus thought a timely mea culpa might help.

never underestimate the Sun, they are capable of wars of attrition until heads roll.If they get a juicy tidbit and they feel that they can exploit it then they will. Ask Lady Di and Linford Christie. Not that it's the same thing but L'Equipe will bring down Lance Armstrong all by themselves. They thought they had evidence against him dating back to 1998 or something and they've never ever let it lie down.

Evidently , should the Fraud Squad get involved then some players could go down for a while as well as everyone who aided and abetted them ,ie the employees who placed the bets for them . Hopefully they've all been weeded out long ago.

what were those Pakistani cricketers and Danish Kaneira jailed for? wasn't it deliberately bowling no-balls ? Is that not exactly the same as conceding a corner or a free-kick for gain ? Now you might argue that those lads accepted money for doing whatever it is that they did but I think that being certain to take money off a bookie for one of your own actions can only be classed in the same category.
-
the owners have changed the club is still the same entity
-
Not that I've read that but I seem to remember that it was just one throw in incident, now Claus seems to be saying it goes on , or went on anyway every week and a lot of collusion is involved, that's technically match fixing because any of these incidents could affect a result.
-
It's fraud that's why, just needs the bookies association to demand an enquiry into the level of the trickery ,something really unsavoury like a fixed match comes out and you get relegated or something like that even if it was years back. It's what happened to Juventus, bloke needs to count his ill gotten gains and STFU.Are cricketers not doing time for similar incidents?

nah, would struggle to make the top 20 although having said that I'm not sure which board some of the takeover threads were on but on a global SF,TSF,TSW basis somewhere in the low 20s in my opinion.

Not just an idiot really....a very doubtful character but then again so was the legendary Robin Hood
