Maybe, it was a long long time ago, I was a schoolkid at the time,we even played a few matches against crew sides from the Castle boats. My did Tommy give you a bolloaking if you screwed up,if he didn't then it was Bobby McCloughlin who was with Tommy in Stevedoring.

Saints / Reading / West Ham run in: Games to go . . .
Window Cleaner replied to .comsaint's topic in The Saints
Absolutely, to me winning on Tuesday and on the last day against Coventry will be enough. -
I once had a chat with Tommy when he was working in the Stevedoring Dpt at Union Castle after his Saints career had ended, must have been on a holiday job myself I guess.Seem to remember him telling me he played for an Irish side in his early years, don't know if that counts though, must have only been a lad at that time.

League 1? think you're exaggerating a bit there, it's one step up the ladder from Bitterne Park Rec football with Rangers and Celtic.
-
It's not official yet that it's even sold out, some claim to have called and been told otherwise, might be worth a try tomorrow morning, think the opening time was given on the Coventry Tickets thread.
-
think he means it's 4 from 12 rather than 4 from 16
-
Saintslist was in it's infancy I think, got a bit hairy on there sometimes.

Ah Sun Tse Anyway I don't need to,NA quotes us from it twice a week every week.
-
Think they will, they only realistically need 1 more win and a draw to be champions.Expect them to win all 3 myself unless they're already crowned at Birmingham when we might see 2 youth sides if that's the case.Their last 16 games have been fantastic, doubt if they'll slip now, unless they lose a CB or something.

was he in Marvel Comics

Because we've taken 4 points from 4 games and have 2 away games and just 1 home game left. Whatever you may think as a Saints fan, the 4 last results would suggest us f*cking it up to the outsider, they'd just think that Peterborough beat Reading and Boro will be going hammer and tongs to reach the play-offs. Don't forget that the bookies are leaning towards us blowing it as well, a week ago you couldn't get a bent halfpenny on Saints to be promoted at better than 20/1 on,now they're offering 4/11 on. as long as we beat Posh we're there but I'd dread going to the Riverside needing to win.

he's used to it if he's been married for 28 years.
-
nope, not that either Premier League is only 20 years old
-
because we were there before the last 27 year stretch, we've had far more than 28 years in total in the top flight. 66-73 and 77-2004 (in season terms) = more than 28 years
-
My ex's sister got married on Semi-Final day in 1976, still went to Stamford Bridge though, only took her about 2 years to get over it.

They were certainly strange looking people.Extraterrestrials i think. The Watcher was a character (or characters because oddly enough there was more than one of them) in Marvel Comics in the days of my youth. They not only had their own stories but they appeared in others as well, not sure that one of them wasn't in the Fantastic Four or something like that, ahh if I could just remember what was in those Comics you swapped in the ABC minors at portswood of a Saturday AM. Top 5 reasons not to give a f*ck if we go up or not
Window Cleaner replied to Turkish's topic in The Saints
he'll just have to hope that we play them in one of the few weeks when he isn't either suspended or has ducked off to avoid the press because he's done something stupid. -
Nah, after 2 TV defeats we must be due a TV win.
-
they probably use some sort of error margin at which they stop online sales for a while. The capacity of SMS seems to be variable, Reading was "sold out" with a crowd of 31892,for West Ham it was 32150 or something like that. If they've got a line up outside SMS waiting to buy tickets it's sort of understandable that they stop onlines when they're down to the last 1000 or so. It's just a theory.
-
But who said it was sold out, don't they usually put that up on the OS when it happens ?
-
nope they've even cut that down this time. Thursday and Friday and then the following Tues/Weds. All for the tossy Euro 2012
-
what difference does that make to my personal opinion ?
-
I don't even believe that Lambert is the best player in the Championship at this moment, I'd go for either Vaz Te or Roberts. Signing Vaz Te is probably one of the best things BFS has done at West Ham
-
Think we might see Morgan before that, Boro probably but Tad is probably out until next season given the nature of his injury. The play offs are just a few days after the last regular match so won't be much difference timewise.
