  1. It's only Pompey FFS; You could get marooned on a deserted island for 15 years and nothing would change, except the amounts involved and the number of points deducted. They've been on the brink for donkey's years, they'll not be wound up for a couple of million £.
  2. No easy exit, but he could ask them to suspend the line at the address he's currently leaving and put the contract into abeyance and just pay his monthly bill as if nothing had happened. That way if he wants it again he's half way there. On the other hand he could get it reinstalled at his new address,at least they'd have 2 phones for their money.
  3. once again if it's like Orange they sent out letters saying that because the TVA had gone up you could opt out freely within XX days of receiving the notification but after that it amounts to tacit assent. They've always covered their rear end.
  4. This is of course one of the problems. If it's anything like France Telecom (or Orange) as they prefer to be called nowadays they give you all the conditions in a series of letter but few actually read them.Of course no one ever asks "and what if I cancel" when subscribing do they.So life patterns change and suddenly whammo you've got a £400 bill because at the end of the day you're doing whatever suits you best and it's normal that you have to pay for not taking enough care to enquire in the first place.
  5. And Italy,Wales and Germany , would work wonders for European Unemployment though.
  6. what's an expectional player? one who you expect good performances from but who never actually makes them?
  7. He could always ask Dr Who for a loan.
  8. But it's just the amount left on your contract, how much is it per month, multiply that by what 20 months and that's what you owe. There is no prevision for cancelling those contracts before their term. Mind you after the Audi debacle you'd have to note that they do seem to see you coming .
  9. who cares about the European Court anyway, you'd just get a fine and they'd take years to make you pay it. When Sarko chucked the Roms out the EC whinged and whined but it all blew over pretty quickly. Saw a bloke on Sky News yesterday who said that if you aren't kicking Qatada out then there must be a far more important reason for it than the European Court, like his network being infiltrated or something.
  10. Hasn't filtered through to the KUMB forum yet then. Probably some confusion with Nolan and Noble. Won't make much difference anyway,Morgan shut Nolan down, he'll be briefed to do the same with Noble I expect.
  11. Yep he should take them to the cleaners, hate dogs and the irresponsible idiots who let them aggress innocent passers by. If you just kicked his dog he'd have up up in front of the beak right? so take him for every penny he's got. Dogs are the bane of the earth.
  12. It's not overcharging, it's called respecting a contract. But if whoever moves into your place after you've gone wants to take over the line you may get a bit of leniency.
  13. But Norwich was on a sunny Saturday afternoon,we're not the same on evening games. From the W Ham forum looks like they expect their side to be 4-5-1 although Sam says 4-3-3.Hope we get this right then, I'd probably leave Sharp on the bench and reinforce midfield. But then we might start 4-4-1-1 with Rickie dropping deep most of the time.
  14. Dogs shouldn't be in shops, it's against the law. You can sue everybody concerned if the dog was actually in the shop, the owner of the dog and the owner of the shop.
  15. Well that's debateable isn't it. As far as I know he's been fit all this season and has been given virtually no opportunities. That would be rather because the manager considers his skills as lesser than the other players available rather than fear of him getting injured. Holmes would be out of contract this summer so as we have little apparent use for him then it's logical that he's been allowed to try to show what he can do elsewhere.
  16. Afghanistan more likely.
  17. who says he is ??
  18. true a 10 pointer will still leave them above the relegation zone and with all their players. Just need to wind them up and let them start again in the Blue Square sharing a ground with Havant cos Pompey...well they're never going to pay their existing debts.
  19. Unsurprising, this is a Saint's board and we fecking hate Pompey. Fact is we pay our bills and you errr don't. At least when we were in the sh*tter our board made some sort of effort to cut costs and not rip people off any more than necessary, plenty of fans with shares lost money as well. You ? well you just carry on as if nothing had happened. You'll go into admin again, won't stop you signing old has beens at 30K a week though.
  20. Now if this were to happen in a lot of countries the local version of the FA would already have a stack of lawsuits filed against them because they approved the owners each time.
  21. At 2euros90 the kilogramme you might get your ticket money back by collecting them up. You'd only need about 9 kilos.Apples(or real Oranges) would probably be cheaper and much more likely to inflict damage. I got hit by a flying orange once at a Mardi Gras parade in Binche in Belgium, cut my eyebrow and really really hurt.Even had to get it stitched up.Tried to get back the cost from American Express and they sent me a questionnaire about the exact type of Orange and all.Stapled a bit of orange peel to the form and told them to find out themselves, doubt if they did, they just paid.
  22. Probably not, isn't it a Champion's League night??
  23. repeat offenders....they'll get more if the Football League and the Premier league aren't considered as separate entities. I mean a company that hasn't even started paying off it's last admin settlement going into admin again...nah that's curtains but it won't happen cos it's Pompey.
