still, nowadays if you ran it up to 88mph in a small town high street you'd get a camera generated speeding ticket and they'd still be trying to make you pay it when you get to some future era. I was on the M25 and the M1 on Wednesday,all those "average speed cameras" must be a real waste of money 'cos nobody seemed to take any notice of the 50 mph limits.Jeez those motorways are rough, just a moving wall of lorries.

Normal really, he's playing in midfield !!! The midfield consisted of Morgan,Cork,Guly and Lallana. If Guly and Lallana aren't capable of doing their share of tracking back and defensive midfield work then the schema needs changing to one where there are 3 'midfielders" plus any one of Guly and Lallana and 2 purely offensive players. To me Lallana's weakness on the defensive side of the game is a big big handicap (not to mention his inefficiency in front of goal these last few games).

O Line still looked pretty shaky last night, defence needs work as well. If Vick is out for any significant amount of time with his broken hand and Vince Young is still on the IR then I just don't know what they're going to do.Maybe Kafka can throw screen passes without getting picked off but he certainly isn't going to be a game winner for them.

Still waiting for the goals,L'Equipe TV seems to be losing interest in the NPC,used to put the goals up on Saturday evening and publicise the live game all week. Now goals come up on Sunday evening/Monday and you have to root about in the internet TV guides to see what match it is on a Saturday.

If we're relying on AL to score with headers we are going to be sorely deceived. I still think we could do with another real front man to come off the bench but not a 4/5/6 million NPC hotshot who wants to start every game.Depends on exactly when we can expect some sort of contribution from Barnard I guess.

Burnley's position is false though,some sides take a bit of time to get going. Didn't doubt that we were in for a real battle myself if only for their strike power and wingers. I'll wait for the real reports but don't doubt that many of them will say that our full backs were exposed because we didn't take the game to them. NA subbed Guly and then Hammond,that says it all for me really,that the construction just wasn't firing on all cylinders and letting Burnley do whatever they needed to put us under pressure where we are at our weakest.

Doubt it actually, Burney had the players to exploit our weakness down the flanks(and Charlie Austin).

Looks like the starting side wasn't quite right but as it was our usual starting XI who could know that in advance. Needed a bit more calm in midfield,which is what was said in a pre-match analysis that someone put up yesterday.
