didnt we all slate the football league for punishing us..? surely it is good that the league helps out the club...would you have said the FL was rotten if it helped us out..?

as am I...but I do not lend myself to blind faith for stability sake...if we fail to win tomorrow and start to show some form in the next 5-8 games then I will be very concerned and will start to doubt if we are on the right track......but not there yet and hope not to be.. imo, if we are still strggling around jan then pardew will have some serious questions to ask himself and will need to work to save his job... people say that people like markus dont become successful by making rash decisions....well, people like that dont become successful by keeping people around them who do not deliver.. im sure pardew will get it right....just play with width and hopefully that will open up more space for lambert and co... I have always maintained that NOT going up next season by any means will be an utter failure and the end for pardew at SFC...but I hope that does not happen..

i think you are right...but I can also see why some are nervous...you said earlier about wanting to use a crystal ball.....well, how can you be so sure omn current form why we will be safe... like i said, I think we will but can see clearly why others are not so sure.. failure to beat gillingham will add a few more to that list..

indeed...keeping a manager for stability sake who takes us to league 2 is utter stupidity.... not that I think pardew will get us relegated..but if we JUST survive this year showing patchy form, I will NOT be confident of promotion next season...which, with the money we have spent and will spend by then will be an utter failure and will probably end pardews career at any decent club...

so, 10 years on and.............................someone (or a commitee) have given a statement they want to work towards women on nuclear submarines... hmmmmmmmmmm I wonder why...maybe for the brief reasons I have given in this thread...?

...the US are constantly building submarines..I have been "down" their newest one - the USS New Hampshire and that is like a space ship...guess what, no women.. new technology and new advances in radiation shielding are always being introduced...I have never said that ONE DAY women wont serve..just right NOW, they dont and WILL not in the near future... out of the nations with nuclear subs, the US Navy will PROBABLY be the first to introduce women...for a couple of reasons.. a) they are constantly building new classes of submarines, new designs, new ideas... b) with constant new ideas they are able to DESIGN a submarine with future NEW technology and SHIEDLING within them... anything to do with nuclear power in a military (or any) involvement, costs a massive amount of money...unless you are happy in this day and age that we spend a ridiculous amount of money to not only scrap the submarines we have...scrap the ASTUTE class in build, buy into massive research in radiation shielding and build a new fleet of submarines to enable gender equality..??? at the moment, women do NOT serve on nuclear subs...no matter what a study here, in France or the USA will change that right now... I may be wrong and next week a US submarine will sail from Kings Bay with women serving on it....hold on, no it wont
